Publisher's summary

New York Times Bestselling Author Lynsay Sands delivers another sexy historical romance set in the wilds of the Highlands

In all her daydreams about her wedding day, Lady Claray MacFarlane never once imagined being dragged to the altar by her greedy uncle and forced to marry a man she didn’t know. But that’s what happened, or would have, had a Highland warrior not snatched her up at the last minute and ridden off with her in his arms. . .

They call him the Wolf. The mercenary’s courage and prowess in battle are known throughout the Highlands, and with his handsome face and black-as-sin hair, he is as intelligent and deadly as the wolf he was named for…

But the Wolf is also Claray’s betrothed. Thought to have been killed as a child, he’s been in hiding all these years. Now he’s determined to earn enough coin to rebuild his home, reclaim his birthright, and honor his marriage contract to Claray. For he’s fallen for the tender-hearted lass…and he will do anything to protect her and their future together.

Another hit

I loved meeting new people and hear from older characters. This book did make me continue to guess at it. Well done but I would have love for more of the Buchanans to be in on the activities.

Loved this one!!!

If your looking for a Snow White female lead and a hot Scottish Laird alpha male lead then your reading the right book.
The story was sweet and the sex was hot so what else can I say…a PERFECT romance!

Love the Querky Characters

Lady Claray was an engaging, querky character. Perfect for her hero, Wolf, the warrior. It took me a bit to understand the new characters in this Highland Bride story since it was not about a Buchanan. But once, I figured it out, I enjoyed the book immensely. The narrator was a perfect Scot voice.

Secret well kept

While the character of the woman is a bit like Snow White (with its love of forest animals) don’t let it stop you from listening. The story will get better and better and you may want to listen more than once!

This is the first book I’ve listened to of this author and I have not found any others that match it in either narration, story or passionate love scenes, it’s actually quite disappointing bc I have spent credits trying to find another in this Highlander series.

Wonderful story

I was a thriller from the beginning. The narrator has a special touch with the characters.

Very Entertaining!

Loved this story so much! So many laugh out loud moments, along with mystery in a lot of aspects. I will go back and read the previous books in this series. Lyndsay Sands never disappoints!

You won’t guess who done it

There’s an unknown villain and I didn’t see that coming. Really enjoyed the story until the ending. Wrapped too quickly and left me wanting some indication of happily ever after. Buy it anyway to see if you guess who done it.

Still loving the series!

This one was great! Loved Claray and her animals and Bryson. it had some funny moments as well. I really thought that this book would be about Alec the last Buchanan brother, but was about a cousin instead. I was happily surprised because it was still good, and I was still wondering who the villain was until the end and it means we are going to get at least one more in this series as we do need Alec's story! I mean come on! Lynsay can't leave us hanging on that one. we have invested too much time over the years with this family and their friends. If she can find a way to continue even after Alec (as she has proven possible with this book) then I am all for it. keep 'em coming Lynsay!
