Quite Touching Story

I so enjoyed listening to this story. The death of the old warrior was so heartwarming. It brought tears.
Often, I have figured out the end of stories, but this one was a surprise.
Tim Campbell is my favorite narrator of all time. He just sends me back in time into the tale.
Love the historical notes this author puts at the end too.

Loving this series

This set of four books is the best series I have read in a long time! I was moved to tears and was ready to fight for Bas and his poor child’s heart. I highly recommend this series and can’t wait till she writes about the sister of the four horsemen!!!! 💙

The kindness of Bass

The story was a believable story for that period of time. The men had such tremendous love for their families that I wished that our world  had more men of that kind of character.

Heather McCollum just keeps getting better and better. This entire series has been great, but the Beast was THE BEST. Throughout this series, Bás has been the most compelling Sinclair brother… Brooding, isolated and made miserable by his role as the horseman of death. He remains loyal to his brothers and resigned to his lot as executioner and bringer of death. I just loved the way the author showed that his role as death was not only executioner, but also protector. It was so nice to see Bás find happiness.
Looking forward to Hannah, their sister’s, story!
* Ms. McCollum adds information from historical texts at the beginning of each chapter abd a historical note at the end of her books. Love learning something new while reading a steamy romance!

I was very excited to read this book since I love the series and I was not disappointed. Another great story about the sons of Sinclair.

Fantastic Tale!

By far my favorite author since Julie Garwood! I love how Heather write both the male and female leads to be warriors and gentle I. Their own ways. This book by far has been my favorite! I cried so many times throughout! Heather you are a magician with words and I adore your Scottish warriors!

Great Story

Best in the series, the story and the narrator were fantastic. Enjoyed how all the family members were included in the final book.

I couldn’t wait to hear Bàs’s story and it did not disappoint! Excellent writing as usual and awesome narration by Tim Campbell. I will most likely listen to it again. Hopefully Hannah gets her own story as well.

Death and life

She delivers baby as a midwife and he is the horseman of death. But all changes and he teaches them about mouth to mouth resuscitation. I really enjoyed the story of the last brother and him finding love. Lots of excitement and I would recommend.

Great depth of Characters! So much Love….

This book is a wonderful example of people who can be anything they want to be and not what they are told…. Even by their parents. The love story and adventure you go on if truly epic.
Just when you think you have it figured out there is another turn. I cannot wait for book 5…. Come on July….
