Publisher's Summary

Robert Whitlow’s gripping legal thrillers have won him a Christy Award and favorable comparisons to John Grisham. Higher Hope, the second novel in his Tides of Truth series, follows Savannah law clerk Tami Taylor as she assists on a case against a preacher who has been defaming a businessman with so-called prophecies from God. Though her firm wants to prove these prophecies are nothing more than slander, Tami can’t help but wonder if the preacher is, in fact, telling the truth.

Great Story ... stretch your faith

Would you consider the audio edition of Higher Hope to be better than the print version?

Hey, if you are a believer, this is a great story to raise your faith and belief that God is still at work and speaks to his people

Good read. Good reader. Inspiring.

Great story about a young lady who is trying to do the right thing and does not judge people too soon. I loved it and want my daughter to read it.

Great

Loved it! Whitlow has done it again. The characters continue to grow. So, does the story.

Narration

This is the first audio book I have listened to. So I don't have anything to compare to but I was surprised that one voice did all the characters. I wasn't impressed with the sound of Zach's character.

Who Would Think?

Who would thinl that a fiction novel would bring me deeper into God? Robert Whitlow has been dong this to me for a long time, but this story has taken me to a place I have, until now, only had a hint about. God has been leading me here for months. I began reading Whitlow" Christian fiction with "The Trial", and heve been reading his books for a few years when I was just walking on the surface of this Spirit World where God resides. Now His Holy Spirit is in me and all around me and I am in Him. Robert Whitlow is one of the teachers that He has brought to be besides those who lead me to understanding in the Bible. Whither you are not a believer in this God of Grace, or a believer who is seeking, Robert Whitlow brings you to Him. While being entertained with a mystery, or a wonderful story that is never, never, dull. I have yet to put down (or now turn off) one of his books.

very misleading

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

a true review from the beginning - this is not a legal thriller this is all about the gospel and a strict way to live like as if you were a NUN! seriously disappointed in the misleading review which led me to purchase this in the first place - the publisher is not truthful with the story's content

Any additional comments?

this was a theft of my money plain and simple by the publisher - they know what type of book this is but did not inform readers

tedious

struggled to finish. it was more about a particular view of the Christian walk than a story.
