But Bobbi is a modern woman and she's not interested in marrying her kidnapper, thank you very much. She's determined to run away no matter how hot her Kindred captor is, and she's going to give the evil Zerlix the slip too. Good read

It’s a bit different from her other story lines! I really enjoyed this one very much!

Come on now! Really?! Where did you go in school?

What got me is that the female was a cultural anthropologist. However she knew nothing about the kindred race and mating habits. Really… really???!! Let’s not even talk about the fact she had been on the kindred mothership. What the….

Interesting Storyline

For those of us who are true Kindred fans, this storyline had similarities to previous Kindred storylines with interesting and entertaining differences. I liked this storyline very much. The characters, especially Dragon was likable. Mackenzie did an excellent job with narration as usual. Looking forward to listening to the next book in series whenever it is released. Time to experience more Kindred withdrawals until this happens.

great start

this book has a great start guy sees girl kidnapped her they fall in love. Then the ending happened and I had to stop the book and takes break. Great powerful guy in love with a girl she demands he changes who he is so they can be together. She basically turned him into carpet and walked all over him saying you'll do this to show you love me. I guess she forgot you can't change a guy and use love as a weapon guys will leave you alone. In this case he was changing on his own without weaponizing love. The author lost me at the end. But, great story line till the end.
