Publisher's summary

This is a book of love from a little boy, my grandson, Connor, who was tragically stabbed and killed by a boy who lured him to the playground because he was tired of living and wanted to die himself. Connor was not afraid. He accepted the boy with open friendliness, as that was how he lived his life. Connor loved the idea that we should recognize love in everyone, and I hope that his book will be a catalyst for others to love more deeply, to forgive themselves and others more easily, and to cultivate compassion from deep within their hearts.

Incredibly beautiful book about loss and love, worth every second!

This book was amazing and incredibly written! I am grateful that I discovered this book through hearing the tragic 911 call that led to her grandson‘s death. Everyone can improve their lives and be better people by reading this book. It’s is a book about loss and love, compassion and understanding, gods grace and the unthinkable but Beautiful act of forgiveness after losing your grandson. Beautifully written and it really makes you feel like you were there, and by the end, you understand the victim‘s family and the perpetrator‘s family. I would recommend this book to older children and adults. I chose this rating because of the beautiful way it was written, and the incredible lessons that we can all learn from it. Regardless of how your past has been on this earth, you have the ability to change your future and your destiny. Each day that God allows us to wake up is a day that we get to have a new start in our lives if we choose to do so. You can become a better person despite your upbringing and your mistakes. These are the kinds of lessons you can learn in this book. The only thing I disliked about the book was the narrator on audible. She kind of dragged along.
