Real life experiences and how to avoid tragedies

Great writing and narration. One very interesting and educational book. I learned a lot that will help me and my family to avoid situations that, with the right education that a leaned on this book, will not turn into tragedies and death of yourself or loved ones. Also contemplates how and why we can receive promptings that you should never ignore. Highly recommended.

Lessons Learned and some great health tips!

This is an inspiration book about life lessons and mistakes that can cost your life. The author has been exposed to a ton of tragic situations and remains resilient, lighthearted and persevering. He adds a dose of physical, comical, emotional and mental health reminders that we all need occasionally. I find it maddening how underappreciated these volunteers who risk their life are. Every community has these heroes, and they are rarely celebrated in the manner they deserve. Highly recommend! Made my long drives fly bye!

Dan Lee is an amazing storyteller and leader

Loved the stories of his Nevada rescues with the Washoe County Hasty Team as well as life lessons and great advice. This book will encourage me to change some behaviors and I will share it with friends and family. I especially liked his information on our subconscious. Looking forward to the next book!
