Story jumps around

The story jumps around a lot and not for the good. It's gets real confusing trying to figure out what is going on because of all the hooping around with the characters. I feel like I'm missing something.

bland and emotionless narration.

I didn't realize it was A I narration when I first downloaded it and I absolutely hated it. No connection, no emotion. absolutely awful. Could not finish the book. Did get to the halfway mark. The story jumps around a bit much and was hard to follow because of the monotone narration.
