Sophie is in a terrible marriage and is about to become divorced. Her husband was been cheating on her for a long time, only she isn’t sure how to end things because ending things is so final. To her it was giving up without trying.

I myself would have been like pack your bag! That’s just me.

She was looking for something new in her life and she got to thinking about online dating but without the dating and just the fantasy of it all.
And interaction from a night out with her girlfriend she stumbles in to light BDSM and it got her thinking.

She feels like a submissive, and find herself searching she comes across a website where a Dom can train her via the Internet this felt like something she was interested in. This way she can stay more anonymous especially with her job as a Kindergarten teacher and very straight laces parents.

I don’t think Sophie or her MC was expecting to have true feeling for each other.
I enjoyed this peak in to the BDSM world it was fun and fresh not dark or seedy.
Worth the listen I say.

That daily tools can very well transform into the kinkiest of sex toys?
That although the book was full mind-blowing sexy times – there weren’t many chapters without – you still get to know and understand the hero and the heroine just perfectly and see them develop?

This book was truly a box full of surprise for me – in an absolute positive way. The synopsis alone, the concept of a BDSM relationship carried out online, was a breath of fresh air and absolutely unique.

HER WEB MASTER is the first book by Normandie Alleman I got to read – or rather got to listen to on audio book – and I am looking forward to discover more of her stories.
As fluent and fast-paced as the story is, with heaps of dirty talk, the time flies by until you realize you’ve already come to the end.

Sophie lives in a loveless marriage with a husband that is cheating on her whenever he can. Her husband is the one cheating – and still he is the one asking for a divorce… via text! Yet, Sophie could not be more relieved. She is done and more than ready for a change. So when she is introduced to BDSM one night after going out for the first time in ages, she becomes fascinated by it. Being a teacher she has to protect her reputation as to not put her job in jeopardy, so she uses the internet to satisfy her fascination … and accidentally lands into the hands of an online trainer…

And what a man he is! Wow! Dirty, dominating, kinky, inventive and oh-so sexy. He has to be the dirtiest talker I’ve ever run across. Whew! His words alone made my Kindle melt and Sophie’s (/my) insides quiver. Although he sometimes really was harsh and downright mean, I couldn’t help but find his way of talking deliciously sexy. Incredible and hot as hell!! God, what his dirty talk did to me… but I’m getting carried away here.

And the dirty talk is not the only thing I found wickedly delicious with the Dom who calls himself MC.
• His ways of putting regular household items to good use as pleasuring devices – be it rubber bands, clothes pins, a spatula, tons of tape – even forks – and so many more
• The kinky tasks he sets up to torture Sophie – his imagination really has no boundaries
• The questionnaires he has Sophie filling out to reassess the sessions and gauge her reactions…

Seriously, I would never have thought that solo play could be this intriguing and steamy!

I love Normandie for coming up with an incentive and unique storyline like that! It is really one of a kind, and I cannot stress this enough!

As the intensity of the sessions rises to new heights, so does the bond between Sophie and her Dom that undeniably was there from the very beginning. The sessions are everything and more you can look for in a BDSM romance, there is a perfectly strict Dom and an obedient submissive who wants nothing more than to please her Master. It is the kind of Dom/sub relationship that has your own body temperature rising and wishing for a cold shower – or a partner, for that matter – to release that pent-up tension.

Two more words about the audio version: I think Alicyn Aimes does a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. She transports the character’s feelings just perfectly into her voice and you always know who is talking. I have to admit I really had troubles with getting used to MC’s voice, because it comes across overly arrogant at times, but all in all she pulled off the dominant alpha male that is MC pretty well, I believed every word that was spoken.

The pain level is slightly higher than in your average BDSM novel, and also the warning of a dirty, filthy talking dominant alpha is to be taken very seriously – if that does not bother you and you are looking for an insanely erotic read, this is the (audio) book for you!!

Omg this is a good book!
I am such a snob when it to BDSM. I have been into the BDSM lifestyle or about 15 years, and trust me when I say most books are junk! They are so unrealistic I can't even usually finish them.
This book on the other hand was great. And so true to life, And training of a sub. I have trained many subs online and in real life.
This book deals with everything from pain, bondage and public verbal humiliation. and love. But most of all the subs journey.
I loved this book so much, that as soon as it was done I bought the 2nd book!

Sexy, fun and dirty

I love BDSM books. But it's rare to find one this well done. Very sexy, fun and dirty. Well written, likable and more importantly believable characters. Loved it. I'll definitely follow this author.

Different Take on D/s

I really liked this story of an unappreciated, soon-to-be-ex wife who finds herself developing a surprising (to her) interest in submissiveness after doing some Googling of BDSM. She is curious but not wanting to dive in and go to clubs with strangers and is drawn to a post by a man who offers to do sub training online, discretely and relatively anonymously. After months of online instructions, emails and phone calls, they finally decide to meet…..

I thought Alicyn Aimes was the perfect choice for Sophie's voice. Her tone and inflection and feel for the cadence of the material were great. Her male voices were also good, and she performed the character of Quentin very well. Yes, she's a chick, so obviously, her male voice is not as good as a male narrator's male voice, but I think she did an excellent job.

There is a Part 2 if you are interested in the continuing adventures of Sophie and Quentin, BUT you could end it here and call it HEA if you wanted to. This one has no cliffhanger (Thank you!) and could be a standalone. Warning: Apparently Book 2 DOES end in a cliffhanger, so if you (like me) hate that crap, you might want to either stop here OR wait for Book 3 to come out before you continue on so you don't get left hanging. Not sure which way I'll end up going yet, but this was definitely well-written and different and worth a credit or cash.

This story is a very smexy and very hot.. I had a special interest in this story, and it read like a page from my a real life there for a bit, so much so, I was ready to see if Normandie had hijacked my computer!

I enjoyed this way too much

I feel like I should be embarrassed by how much I liked this audio but I'm totally not. I loved the whole premise of taking charge of your life and figuring out what you have to do to make yourself happy again.

My favorite was the ending, left me with all the feel goods.

Although I was given a copy of this audio from Audiobook Boom, it in no way altered my review.

An experience to remember!

I was actually offered an audio book so this was a completely different experience than reading the e-book or paperback.

Usually I’m pretty sketchy towards audio books because the wrong narrator can ruin the entire story for me. With this book I thought she did an exceptional job portraying every feeling and thought written by Normandie.

Warning: this book will make you blush when reading it but listening and actually experiencing every word is a totally different ball game. With the nature of this book it felt like I was actually going through the motions right with her.

Content: extremely steamy, bdsm, boundary breaking and the ending is or might be quite the opposite from what you might be expecting... It sure surprised me. From that ending it really makes me wonder what the other two books are all about.

If you can handle an extremely dirty book with a unique voice I highly recommend you to listen to the audio version of this book.

Not My Cup of Tea

This was a strange tale of dominance and submission. The characters were trying to feel each other out via the internet. He would give her stuff to do and she would do it although she knew he could not possibly know if she did or not. Or could he? This book was given for an unbiased review via audiobook boom. That being said if you like this type of book then it is a good listen.

I was given this book in return for my honest unbiased opinion. I really liked this book. It was not your typical BDSM story hence the title. The narration was good. I need the next book now!!!

I just found this wasn't for me, I couldn't get interested in the storyline. But narration was OK

I liked listening to the audiobook, the storyline was interesting, to be able to play a scene online is an interesting concept. I especially liked the instruments they used instead of buying.
The narrator was clearly spoken, easy to understand.

Slightly Warped & Kinky!

This book was unlike any other BDSM book I've ever listened to or read. I loved the storyline and the characters and how hot and kinky this story was. MC was dominant, dirty and demanding plus he was pretty creative with his use of implements. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book in this series. Alicyn Aimes did a great job bringing this story to life. She really brought out the demanding and sometimes mean side of MC in her voice. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Not for me ,

Sadly not over joyed with this book I note lots of five star reviews but not for me . I have listened to BDSM may times that was not the issue maybe I should have read more from the synopsis before requesting it but I found it quite tedious , a broken marriage leads into the Internet instructions until they finally come face to face . I admit on skipping some chapters as I could not get into it ...
