Wonderful Western romance

I've read Jane Henry's contemporary romances and loved them. I can now add her westerns to my list of books to one-click.
The story engaged me from the start and Ada and Cole's relationship was intense.
Listening to the book was a. treat as the narrator did a great job.

I would definitely listen to Her Outlaw Daddy again. The story is well written and the narrator is brilliant!

What did you like best about this story?

The sexual tension and the spankings. I liked the dark romance and the capture fantasy. And of course, the entire DaddyDom theme was ûber hot.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This was a short, smoking hot story and I absolutely loved it. It is crazy well written and narrated and I could almost smell the horses, cigarettes, and leather and did I catch a hint of gunpowder as well? Yep, I think I did.

Yes, Daddy please

I loved the characters and dialogue, along with the expressive words that brought it all to life in my mind. I loved how Cole handled Aida. There is a bit of mystery on both sides of this story, which makes it a fun listen. The narrator pulls you into the story with ease. I think there are some books you curl up with in a chair on a quiet afternoon and just enjoy. This audiobook was one of those books for me. It is definitely a great listen.

Very well-written. Engaging story line that keeps you guessing till the end of the book. That was one of my favorite parts, in addition to the hot punishment scenes, there was a thrilling plot.

His Outlaw Daddy is a dark western romance pits spoiled brat young woman against a hardened stern outlaw. Alda is kidnapped by Cole. While he holds her for ransom, he demands her strict obedience so that he can keep her safe from the other outlaws. While he demands that she call him “Daddy”, this is the only age-play element to the story. However, the ransom plan breaks down. As it twists and turns, it becomes clear that there is more involved in Jane Henry’s plot than the outlaw’s simple nefarious extortion.

I listened to the book while driving, and Ken Solin’s narration was excellent. His voice inflection changes for the various characters were always clear and understandable.

Amidst spankings, sex, and shootouts, this was a captivating read that kept me wide awake on my travels.

Love this book!

There are two things I love in a romance. A hot, alpha cowboy and incredible, suspenseful romance. This book delivers both. This is my first Jane Henry book, and she brings to life the old west...the outlaw kidnapping the rich girl. Cole Clemmons is out to settle a score with his hostage Aida Marie Perkins, but while he has her, he needs her to behave. How do you get a woman to behave? Spank her of course. This man can be brutally mean, and at the same time show tenderness beyond belief. You can't help but fall in love with him. Aida is a strong willed woman, her submission is not an easy thing for her to give. I love her spunk, and the way she deals with Cole...and in the end when his little girl calls him daddy, you just know that he has succeeded in his mission and she has fallen for him.

I am extremely impressed with Jane Henry's writing. This is a short book, and she was able to create incredible mystery and suspense throughout the story. The characters are well developed which you don't see with most novella length books. At the end, you feel like you took this journey with them and felt all the emotions right along with them. Jane Henry is an author I will be looking for more of.

The narration of this book is performed by Ken Solin. The raspy, baritone voiced narrator has the perfect western accent for this performance. His pace of reading is perfect and he instills that wild west feel as you listen. I will definitely look for his narrations in the future.

That finally getting to hear the narrator voice and getting a lot in this book with the audio.

i laugh because she was not going to listen to him , but wanted tot be punish by Crow. love it

best book ever

Not very impressive

Too many characters had me confused a bit but I held through. I almost didn’t know what was planned and what was not. Would have liked some hotter and more love scenes, with so many characters it wasn’t possible. The plot was great, the story wasn’t told in a great way. And the narrator left a lot to be desired.
