Acerca de esta escucha
This is the prequel to Pinkerton's Gold, and is the first book in the series featuring the American West adventures of John Whyte, an ex-officer from the British Army.
John arrives in America just in time for the Civil War and joins the Union side working directly for Abe Lincoln. His first assignment is with Alan Pinkerton who is trying to breakup a Confederate spy ring in the north. Lincoln is so impressed with John that he sends him out to work with General Grant and report to Lincoln whether the bad press Grant has been getting as a drunk and a butcher is justified.

Her Majesty's Yankee
This is the first book in this series. John has some problems and is forced to leave his home and come to America. He has come into a lot of wealth. This book kept my interest from start to finish. I enjoyed every chapter. There is a lot of action in this book. John joins the army here in America and helps abe Lincoln as a spy and then Abe gives him more responsibility. The end makes you want to continue to the next book. John is smart and makes wise decisions. Also a ladies man.I highly recommend this book and series. Rusty Nelson did a great job narrating this book. which is how I found it. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
