Three main characters in this story weave their way through love, loss and revenge in a very unique way. This story will keep you intrigued until the very end when the pieces of the characters story finally come together.

A gritty suspense

My first book to read by John Searles. I'd give him another try. This was a bit grittier in tone than my usual reads. I thought the plot was convoluted at times but still it held my interest. This book is about what happens when one revisits the past. Can you go back and be the person you were? For some it could be worth the effort, for others not so much.

The worst English advent I've ever heard

Most characters are just fine but Jane's attempt at an English advent is a crime. Who let this go out?

Starts off slow but…

Stick with it. Lots of twists and turns you don’t expect. Some good life lessons which I have pondered regularly since.

Interesting twists will keep you engaged

Interesting storyline. The narrator was excellent. Though the two main characters were fully fleshed out, I didn't really care about either of them. That made it difficult to hang on to the end.
