Love the Braxton Brothers

I really enjoyed this Braxton Brothers book. The narrator was pleasant to listen to but sometimes the way a line was spoken didn’t match how it was described like a whisper etc. I like how the family supports each other and have a strong bond. even though the brothers had to find their own way, they eventually find their way home. I look forward to reading about the sister next.

A sweet demonstration of romance

Jackson is going home for his brother’s wedding. Unfortunately, this means that he will most likely have to face Isabel, the one who holds his heart. However, her father told Jackson years ago that he would never give his blessing for Jackson and Isabel to get married. Jackson has since been trying to prove his worth to the world.
Isabel’s life is a mess. Her father is all that she has left in her life, barely. Her mother died when she was in high school. Her first love abandoned her after high school. Her fiancé, is more a part of her life in wishes than reality, because he would rather travel than be around her. Even her dad is slipping away as Alzheimer’s steals his mind.
If actions speak louder than words, Jackson is screaming his feelings for Isabel by helping her. However, words fail when there is so much water under the bridge.
If many hands make light work, it may take a lot of help to fix the problems in each of their lives.

a great clean second chance romance

A sweet clean standalone romance. This enjoyable second chance romance is full of lots of emotions and obstacles as two people have to overcome their past. Their is sadness, healing, love, fear, and chemistry.  The characters are interesting and include other Braxton brothers series characters as it is told in dual POV from isabel and Jackson's view. The narrator does an amazing job of reading with emotion making you feel all the emotion the author portrayed really pulling you even more into this fantastic clean story.

Second chance romance

This romance has a strong storyline, one where communication is the key and the lack there of tore two sweethearts apart for 8 years. Will they get to fix their past and move on or is too late for these two, who only feel complete when together but don’t know how to say it.

A good story although I felt it was dragged out a little more than it needed to be.

Very well narrated, and a pleasure to listen to.

I received this as a complimentary copy and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

Sweet second chance romance

A second chance romance. High school sweethearts meet up again eight years after they broke up. This book iis full of emotion and drams. Isabel Andrews and Jackson Braxton try to deny their feelings for each other. The tension as they work through there feelings pulled me into the story. I felt badly for the young Jackson who was told by Isabel's father that he was not good enough to marry his daughter. It shows the impact of words and how they can change the journey one takes. But hurray! There's a HEA.

(3.5 stars) - a sweet 2nd chance romance

Jackson & Isabel were highschool sweethearts, but something happened, & Jackson bolted, abandoning Isabel to go make it big in the city.

Now he's wealthy & successful - and still trying to avoid Isabel. Ma Braxton is going to have to intervene.

The family angle is fun. The fear of communication between the two protagonists is not so much. The basic story structure is good, but the constant angsting gets old. Isabel feeling like she has to be with someone to be happy is disturbing, too. I like the series concept with the Braxton brothers but failure to communicate plots should never be overdone - if this story was edited down to about half its length or at least had something else substantive going on, it would be excellent.

*Clean romance level: sweet kisses

[The narrator does a commendable job with the various characters' voices]
