first off I'm a man who also went through a divorce 5 years ago after 20+ years of marriage and didn't see it coming and definitely not expected. At 48 years old on this date (july 22 2023)
i went through everything you described and still struggle a tiny bit some days but can indefinitely say it does get easier. i too am a recovering addict so i can relate with you on all levels. just want to say you inspired me to write this message to give you the inspiration to take it day by day and look long term for you and your daughter.
God Bless You.
