The story line is very compelling and told in a very forthright manner. The end of society as we have always known it and how a bunch of children survive is not a particularly new idea, but this has its own twists and turns

Holy crap! What a great story. The narration is on point. The story of thrilling, funny and heart wrenching. The characters are complex, realistic and drawl you in to the world created in this story. Read the first book, but this is a truly great sequel!
