Making a deal with the devil doesn't seem all that bad when you're sitting on top of the world with endless amounts of money and designer everything, but it's not long before her beloved aunt Ruby is snatched away from her. Mecca is forced to fend for herself. She learns to play with the hand she was dealt, but who will be left standing in the end? In Mecca's world, everyone is suspect, and no one can be trusted, not even family. When the truth is revealed to her, it is up to Mecca to decide if she'll do the right thing and lead a life of righteousness or continue to walk down the same dark path as her aunt.

This would make a great movie

I ALWAYS love listening to audiobooks read by iiKane. I love the way she captures the characters in each story. This story in particular has a great plot, and from beginning to end, I was completely captivated. I can wait to read part 2.

Once it got going the plots and surprises made it worthwhile. The narrating was professional and well done. Looking forward to the next part of this story to see how this all will ultimately end.

Wow

All I can say is wow this book was crazy and it really speaks on how men are and how ppl will do you in real life! I’m thinking I kno what’s going to happen next but no I’m hit with another shocker Chile this book made me not want friends of family around me fr 🤦🏽‍♀️

This story

I plugged my ear buds in to listen to hell’s diva. I was super confused as the characters spoke. I even thought to my self During the beginning of chapter 1 to not finish the book. But good thing I didn’t as I listen more and more I realized this story had realness and truth to it. The author shows the importance of forgiveness and to not take vengeance for your self. I love how it was a lesson in the end. I am ready to hear how this story ends I pray it doesn’t just end like this because I’m left now wondering what happens to the aunt and Main character. It's a Wonderful Life with a Twist

I like how it incorporated the devil with the life of the character and allowed her to see how the people in her life treated her.

Different than I was expecting

I was not expecting the route this book took but I enjoyed it. Nicole Small NEVER disappoints

This is a good read

I really enjoyed this book. I can see where sis Souljah got her inspiration from the recent coldest winter ever. I was glad to see the follow up and will be reading it

Life lessons

This book is a must read. I can say this young lady went through a lot. Please make a book two.

Mecca had a hard life

at first I was confused through the entire book but then it made sensed at the end.
