Publisher's summary

Jonathan Haley has come out of seclusion in South Africa to answer a call to the ministry. He will be the new assistant pastor of Cliffside Chapel. Cliffside, Ontario is a community divided. Jon will also be the new music director---a job previously filled by a young widow, Susan Rennie.

When Susan finds herself thrown repeatedly into the company of this usurper, she has difficulty resisting his winning smile and quirky sense of humor. Yet she has pledged to remain true to the memory of her husband. What is she to make of Jon's attentions and her growing feelings for him?

Jonathan Haley is walking into more than he bargained for as he dons his robes for service in Cliffside.

A romantic romp with real music

Story is character driven, and the characters are delightful. It has a bait and switch storytelling style. First, it seems like a romance, and then it becomes a mystery. The ending is surprising and deeply satisfying.
