Loved them! I like the little short stories and how the story progresses. Can't wait for Book 3!

Short but steamy

It was extremely comical at points, do not drink anything while reading this story. The team good nature joking, threatening to eat each other and the humans or the vampires sucking them all dry. Cambridge is a vampire and feels like he is being punished for some reason to have to go to the middle of nowhere. Cassie, who is fae but does not know it, is trying to keep her dad from killing the supernaturals at a peace talk. She tries to warn the Bureau but it doesn't go as planned, lets just say it is explosive! It is an interesting holiday story and I love how it turned out, it just seemed rushed to me. The chemistry between Cambridge and Cassie is hot and sizzles. This story shows how things happen for a reason.

The narration of this book just brought it to life! I laughed even harder than when I first read it.

Another Fun Holiday Romance

Mandy never ceases to amaze me with her ability to make a tired trope fresh and enjoyable. Her humor keeps me giggling. This one has a bit more action than the first story, but still plenty of humor and steam. Mimi and Flynn are back with their antics and enough sexual tension to light up any room. Those two really need to give in already! Love them though. Cassie and Cambridge are so sweet together. Biggest drawback was the rushed tie up of the bow at the end. Still a satisfying fun journey. Nice for a quick listen while cleaning my kitchen. Definitely recommend the series and author. This and the first would make a great test to see if you like the author. If you enjoy these you’ll love her PSI Ops books. They have a very similar tone with the benefit of expanded development. Haven’t gone wrong with anything Mandy M Roth yet!

Heated Holiday

I really enjoyed the narration of this one. I loved the first story and this one even more.

Negotiations between humans and supernaturals are tricky. Especially when there is a politician with deep prejudices. There is someone who sees his evil and wants to help the other side even at the risk of her life.

There is humor, great characters, a good storyline, steam, and romance. It may be short but nothing is lacking. I enjoyed it and am sure you will, too.

Cassie and Cambridge

A short listen, but a nice one. The narrator is very easy to listen to. As with the first one, I would have really liked a much more extended story. Maybe the story of Cassie’s mom and dad.
Buy this book and enjoy the quick listen.
Personally, I don’t like spending a credit for such short book, but this is well worth spending the money.

I don’t believe there are any more planned, which is too bad. I would love Finn and Mimi’s story.

Cookie cutter and condescending

This is the second novella in a row where, after they hook up, the vampire informs her that he’s taken care of everything. In this case, he’s ensured the safety of her mom and plans to take out her evil dad.
On the romance side, he takes her V card the day they meet and informs her after the fact they’re mated. And then she’s going down on him like a pro. So, yeah. Insta everything and she’s okay with it.
She’s like, “what’s that? You’re going to kill my dad? Neat!” This was not even worth the $2 sale price.
