The story was great however the narration was abysmal Many missed pronunciations A
and overly dramatic.

Refreshingly sane for this genre

Nice to see the characters get to know each other slowly and deeply before jumping into bed. A little more Angst there just for dramatic effect. And then the ‘erotica’ that I wish were less graphic cuz not all of us want that vicarious fly on the wall perspective of others’ sex lives. Overall, well done and deeper than most in this genre. My first listen from this author. I will try another title by her.

Doctor and Paramedic

Vic and Angie find themselves betrayed by their partners when they have an accident on the way to a secret trip. Finding their way out of the painful world of broken hearts. Great performance.

Terrible narration

Narrator sounded like she had an accent and was trying to speak without one. Half of the characters sounded like they were cartoon characters. Narrator totally missed the mark. It’s unfortunate because the book may have been much better with a better narrator.

Really enjoyed...

I really enjoyed Heartsick. I listened to the book on a road trip and was well entertained the entire time. I didnt want to turn it off until it was over.

Grandma reads a romance novel

Pros: The characters are likable, the story is paced well, and, overall, the novel is enjoyable.

Cons: The narrator reminds me a wholesome midwest grandmother. Which is not, in and of itself, a negative thing. But it's not exactly the best fit for a romance novel. The story is what I would call a 'slow-burn' so there isn't much explicit sex. But trust me when I say that grandma describing zinging feelings in her crotch is more than a little jarring. Also, the word crotch is never sexy.

I would read another Tracey Richardson book but would look for a different narrator. I would also listen to the narrator again, just not in a romance novel.

Delightful!

Great story and excellent narration. Moments that were so sweet I couldn’t push pause and moments that were so corny I couldn’t help but smile. Definitely worth the listen!

Great story

Loved the story the characters but not the narration . The narrator sounded like she had a very bad cold, and was breathing very heavily and nasal.

the story was great but the narration not so much

this would have been an easy five star but the narrator didn't so a good job with bringing these charactor to life. I think Lori Prince would have done a way better job. Vic and Liv sounded liked they were speech impaired. it was horrid and I couldn't focus as much .
