Publisher's Summary

No one pencils in falling in love.

All work and no play has Autumn Primm in the market for a little excitement. Her Venice Beach coffee shop, The Cat's Pajamas, is her pride and joy. While she doesn't mind the long hours, she finds herself staring dreamily out the window, imagining the life she's yet to lead. The time has come to take off the apron and see what the world has in store.

Kate Carpenter needs to get away. And quick. A former firefighter, Kate's been crowned her town's new hero for reasons she can't quite get behind. A free flight and some time off have her fleeing the scene to sunny California to catch her breath and put some distance between herself and the unwanted acclaim. Dreamy Autumn Primm was never supposed to be part of that bargain. What she needs is a temporary escape, emphasis on temporary.

A Seven Shores romance.

Another Beautiful Story

I have to tell you, I laughed out loud, I teared up, I held my breath, and wanted to jump forward to make sure Kate wasn't messing her life up. The fast pace was something I normally don't enjoy But the way Melissa wrote the story line .. I had no choice but enjoy every moment. it was fun, and whimsical, you cant help but smile at Autumn and Kate's energy.
This is truly a book series your gonna want to own. The supporting Characters were amazing as always. I cant wait till see if the last two ladies of this family find love, they so deserve it..
So, again amazingly impressive Book it's a must own.

These 4 books are a greatly woven story of 4 friends. Each is a delightful story of love. I have enjoyed getting to know these ladies and long for more.

enjoyed it

I so love the series of Melissa Brayden's books more then the individual ones. I think she does such a great job with picking the characters, the friendships and each individuals journey. And she picks the right narrator. Now, in this series, favorite character has been Taylor, 2nd has been Autumn. Lets see what the other series and characters journey is. I love it so far. I so love the narrator, I think she does a great job. But, it does irk me, a little, which is with each book the voices change, but, eventually you get use to it! The other is do we need to have them break up for them to realize what each want. Can't that be part of their Journey. But, I would still listen to the series, I still enjoy it. And I LOVE that Melissa Brayden does Epilogues...its like a conclusion to enjoy the characters more from it sudden ending like a lot of other writers do. So, LOVE your Epilogues....Keep bringing friendship and series on!!!! with all that, Melissa Brayden you deserve 5 star all the way...bringing a smile to me from beginning to end!!!!

OMG! This is one of Melissa Brayden's best books yet!

This is my new favorite book. I didn't even mind the angst, which I usually hate.

Excellent listen!

I enjoyed this book thoroughly! The characters very funny, had great chemistry, and good depth. Seemed like they could be real people, which just made the story better. The book also touched on topics that are real hardship challenges today for alot of people. Kudos to the author... Looking forward to the future books in the series!

still a fan

huge fan of Melissa brayden, but this book is not my favourite, story is great and so are the characters but could see where the story was going. I would recommend others to try this book as it is still great but just not her best.
