Publisher's Summary

Warning: This novella contains excessive humor, excitement, adventure, magic, romance, and bodies. Proceed with caution.

Dakota never intended to become the single mother of a goddess. To make matters worse, her daughter hadn’t quite figured out her role in the grand scheme of things.

Havoc isn’t supposed to be part of Hestia’s portfolio, but where the young goddess of the hearth and home goes, trouble surely follows.

When Dakota’s ex-husband barrels his way back into her life, a heavy dose of havoc is just what the doctor ordered. She just never expected to find love in the midst of murder.

I love these books

I have yet to read one of RJ Blain's books that doesn't become a comfort favorite. I also like this narrator. She has performed others by Blain before. Loved it!!

Laugh and More Laughs

I laughed a lot through the story. Lot of snarky remarks and a murder planned as if they were talking about the weather. This made it a great listen all the way through.

another must have

No criticismwell just one I wish it could have been longer. Then again I was aware and it was money well spent. To me RJ Blain is one of favorite romantic comedy writers. Her use of the paranormal world she has created for this and other stories. Simply adds a familiar feel to her tall tales, hence yet another reason I have so many of her Audible productions and Kindle books. Courtney Holly has done an excellent narration, bringing life and good voice characterizations to this story.

much too short...

Good stories are those you don't want to end and this is one of those. Courtney Holly is a fantastic narrator. I could listen to her over and over

💙WHITTY OTHERWORLDLY SASS💜

Humorous look at a woman with 2 children, one she doesn't have custody off and the other obviously not human like her. I don't want to spoil the journey for you so l will just say l enjoyed the surprises and twists. If this woman was real l reakon we would get on famously. She has a dry sense of humour and whit. Chuckle worthy.❣ I think it was make all the more successful by the good job of the narrator.❣

A great magical novella

This is a fast pace novella audio . There are many questions within the audio that will make you listen till the end . The story starts with a few questions of how the main female character ends up with a goddess as a daughter and the daughters name doesn’t suit her. The daughter is named of Vesta , the Greek goddess of home . The heroine Dakota and hero Victor are great characters. They have great lines going back and forth The narrator Courtney was good. She has a great steady smooth and clear voice .

i felt kind of lost in the beginning.

i enjoyed it, but i felt it started in the middle. it's hard to explain, i have questions such as what was the ex., what was/is Dakota's powers, and that sort. the narrator did a wonderful job. i enjoyed all the different voices she could do.
