Nick Sanders has loved Elizabeth since he first glimpsed her portrait - not that he dare admit it. A ranch hand has no call to woo a well-born lady, especially when she’s being courted by the town’s finest gentleman. Yet there’s something in her mix of courage and compassion that won’t let Nick quit.

Publisher's Summary
USA Today bestselling author Caroline Fyffe makes love the grandest adventure on the frontier for the resistant darling of Eden, Colorado.
Emma Brinkman is the most eligible bachelorette in town and staying that way. After learning twice that romance is a lie, she’s focused only on making the mine she and her sisters inherited a booming success. To do that, she’ll need to put her trust in a notorious scoundrel. But no matter how flirtatious, handsome, or persistent he may be, Emma is interested only in his expertise in coaxing gold from the earth.
The illegitimate son of a duke, Beranger North is a reputed playboy and a self-made man who found his fortune excavating the rich and profitable American West. He’s always looking for a good prospect, and Beranger sees the potential in Eden, Colorado, and in mining the affections of his fetching, if wary, new business partner.
All he has to do is convince Emma to take one more chance on love - on him. Against all odds, they could both strike it rich, if only in matters of the heart.

Heart of mine: Book 3 was not as great as book 1 & 2
I loved ‘Heart of Mine: Books 1 & 2’ I really liked Book 3 too..but it was over & beyond ‘bubblegum’ sweetness to the extract in a few lines..”omg this hasn’t got even a REAL KISS in Book 3! And the girls act like they’ve never been near a man?” Plus..there were too many new questions COMPLETELY not even attempted to be answered.
Example: the new Spanish ‘biatch’ on the block, Salazar’s ex sweetheart who doesn’t give a crap about anyone, wants to steal everything including him, a beautiful Black Stallion. But because she’s someone’s brothers wife, girlfriend, I was completely not sure, you basically HATE HER..plus do you think the author Caroline Fyffe could have given her a Spanish name that basically didn’t have the same first name as close to her last name? Personally, and it’s ONLY my opinion..if you bring in new characters can’t they have more than a few opinions about them and a..little bit of background? He broke Katie’s heart over WHAT?
As far as the narration, Scott Merriman is ALWAYS great as a man, mean man, eh as a Brit, you need to work on that, even good as a woman..
Of course I recommend these books but this Book introduces too many new ones without explanations at the end what’s going to happen with them. I somewhat felt robbed, but I’ll get over it..something always feels good when a romantic book comes out without cussing or having sex..it’s called ‘the good ole days with beautiful innocence”

Love, romance it always wins in the end or does it
What a lovely addition to a lovely series as Ms. Fyffee takes us on a journey of secrets, loss, love, but mostly of family and beginnings. Five sister go back where it all started many years ago to a home they have long forgot where they must stay six months to get their inherit. They will find many things and lose a few along the way but they will begin again and find the love they never thought they would find. I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and couldn’t wait to see what was in store for Emma and see how the others sisters were doing. What follows is a story as only Ms. Fyffee can deliver with Emma returning a child to the orphanage and getting on a stagecoach on her way back to Eden where she meets up with the dashing Mr. North on board. She isn’t too crazy about him, their last meeting didn’t go so well but he truly is one find looking man. Beranger is taken with her as well, as they get closer a friendship comes forth.
What an exciting read, the danger and mystery keeps you in the edge. A mystery man found almost dead, he can’t remember who he is, the woman who found him has so many unanswered questions. Could he be an outlaw, is he dangerous, where is he from and why is he here, so many question he can’t answer and then it’s he feeling of loss knowing he is here for a reason, knowing it is important but it is just out of reach. Katie feels he is good but what if he isn’t and what about her heart and doesn’t want to listen to reason.
The narrator did a wonderful job pulling the listener in, I really enjoyed his character voices he really bought them to life. His normal voice is very nice, there are no background noise, no repeating of words, no volume change, he gave the emotion that the author asked for delivering a very delightful listen that I got lost in.
I thought this was a wonderful read filled with mystery, danger and excitement. New people in town that could hold the answer and one man that makes the stranger feel uneasy, he must protect Katie at all cost. I enjoyed coming back to Eden seeing where the sisters life have gone, it is a town that comes to life, I enjoy the characters they seem like family. This is Katie’s story which is very touching, there were times I held my breath, other times my feeling went out to her wondering if things would work out. I enjoyed the Clark’s and how their story was told. It was very touching but sad.
I thought the author put together a delightful story that held my attention, with a little mystery and excitement of the unknown. She is an author that keeps you guessing with delightful twists and turns. I look forward to the next book in this series.
We learn the background on both why Mr. North left his home and why Emma is put off on men, love just isn’t for her. Here we learn of some secrets and just what the sisters will do to set it right if they can. The budding friendship of Emma and Beranger as they grow closer, it really is a very touching story that brought many smiles to my face. I was taken away as the author painted a picture I got lost in. I really liked how these two characters bought the best out in each other, how they made each other shine as well as how their relationship grew. The buildup of the romance is delightful, the scenes breath taking, it truly is a great story with a wonderful plot that takes over you mind and relaxes you. I really enjoyed the surprises that the author gives and all the twists and turns that come with it. If you are looking for a touching story that has a little bit of everything in it as well a plot twisted around surprise and secrets this is the book for you.

Another fantastic and a favorite story with great narration.
I loved this story when I first read it and to hear it on audible is fantastic. Caroline Fyffe is one of my favorite authors and knows how to write very compelling stories with great characters, and lots of action and problems. I loved the hero and could just imagine him in my mind and wow, I think I would have loved to marry him. How can you resist a man with a English accent!
The heroine, Emma one of five sisters is another favorite character in this series. She is perfect for Barringer, the hero. Sigh!! What a turn around of events for these two, who go through so much, to get their happy ever after. It took Emma a while to like the man when she first met him, and she was not one to believe in love. But again a man with an English accent, manners of a complete gentleman, she finally comes around but, almost too late.
The narration was wonderful and easy to listen to. This audible and the book are highly recommended. If you love clean, good old western romances, you must read, and or, listen to this audible. Personally I think you should do both.
