Fantastic new narration by Marcus Freeman

I stumbled upon this audiobook of Heart of Darkness because I wanted to hear more works narrated by Marcus Freeman. After hearing his splendid performance of Michael Malice's Dear Reader where he played Kim Jong-il to perfection, I sought out if he had done anything else. Freeman appears to be somewhat newer to the audiobook scene since he doesn't have that big of a body of work. That's a true shame, because I think that he's one of Audible's best performers.

Conrad's Heart of Darkness is a classic that needs no introduction and Freeman captures the desolate nature of the work with his deep voice and spot-on performances of each character. Whether you're a fan of the original story or want a great narrator who can truly do old literature justice, I highly recommend this version. I hope that we can see more recordings by him.
