The story and characters are well written and developed. I enjoyed the drama, chemistry and journey. Good read.

This is Olivia and Carter's story. It is a short read. Oliva is a lawyer and he is a detective. There is a tension in the air for Carter when a ex-husband goes after Oliva. He is in love with her can he protect her? Will she survive to love him back?.

Loved it

This story is action packed, steamy and intriguing. The sassy MC and the bad boy type go good together. I loved that the narrators has done the duet style it always makes it better to follow along.

Carter and Olivia

Book 6 in the Hearts Intent series. The book can be read as a stand-alone. Olivia is a lawyer, trying to protect abused women. She gets drawn in too far in this case. The story let’s us know the depths Carter will go to save her. The story was interesting. Characters well developed. The narration was well done. enemies to lovers

Enemies to lovers story of Olivia and Carter. Olivia helped an abused wife from a bad ex-husband, now he is getting back at her.
This is a nice, contemporary eye-opening love story. The story was short but it felt complete especially with the eye-opening. it didn't feel rushed or just an all of a sudden things. There was this substance that made it real and complete. recommend listening to this story. (NOTE: Has scenes for mature audience).

Olivia & Carter

The sixth book in the Heart's Intent series, attorney Olivia West and Detective Carter Jackson's story. There is drama, danger, suspense, a villain, twists, turns and romance. The story is well written with a well written storyline. I liked the Narration by Ginger Walton, Ric Walton.

I did not like the narration at all

Tropes: Detective - Suspense

I am afraid in this case i can't rate the story or the writing of this book.
The Narration was really bad for me and i am really sorry, because the story was cute and i have read othe books from the same author that were good.

I wish i hade read the book, instead of listening to the audible version. I didn't like the voices and i found them unexpressive, so that i couldn't connect with the story at all.

I am sorry to give such a low rating because of narration.

Entertaining!

This is book 6 in the Heart's Intent Series, a romantic suspense. Olivia and Carter's romance is entertaining, filled with drama, suspense, and twists and turns. Olivia, an attorney, is smart, and strong. Carter, a detective, is handsome and protective. They are perfect together. Ginger Walton and Ric Walton did a good job bringing this story to life. Confusing Erotica with a Few Other Scenes

I've listened to several books in this series and am not terribly impressed by it. So far, every single one has felt like it jumped into the middle of the story without enough explanation or background to make you care about the people involved. This one, in particular, seems to have a complex backstory formed from the prior books in the series. So, if you haven't read or listened to those first, you may feel a little lost at times. I wasn't wild about this book because it felt like erotica stitched together with a few other brief scenes, except at the end, where it turned into a romantic suspense with the heroine in peril at the hands of a former client’s ex. I didn't like the level of profanity in the book, including the F-bomb. I hate how that's “a thing” in contemporary romance. The intimate scenes were a little icky, too. From what I can recall of the beginning of the book, they only started becoming intimate within the time frame of the book, so things got pretty hot and heavy fairly quickly, including some elements that some may find distasteful. It certainly didn't do it for me! I wish this book had a bit more of a consistent actual plot and not quite so many sensual scenes.
