    OMG It WORKS!

    What made the experience of listening to The Complete No B.S. How-to Guide on Bodyweight Training the most enjoyable?

    This book is really the Bible of workouts. After applying the exercise with my dumbbells and bench at home, I decided I did not need to pay all that money to the Gym anymore. The text is very descriptive on all exercises.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The text is humorous and informative and the author does not pull any punches- He really seems to be speaking from the every man point of view and not from a fitness guru point of view which i found very refreshing.

    Any additional comments?

    The product review chapters and sample training logs are a nice bonus. Overall, this book is top notch and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to begin a workout regimen from home.Highly recommend.

    Good read, lots of great information and exercises

    Where does The Complete No B.S. How-to Guide on Bodyweight Training rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Left an area with Anytime Fitness to one without. Desperate I had to do something. This book was discovered before the sojourn; thankfully, and will be my go-to toward affordable fitness. TOP 3

    Only wish the title included women. Really muscle is muscle and I could not afford to be stuck on stupid regarding nomenclature.The book is a godsend as far as I am concerned. Straight forward, in chaser like I need and prefer. Buy it! You won't regret it.

    A nice collection of good work outs

    I use this book to help me change my routines. It has so much information and every exercise is well described. Lots of little hints here and there to help you improve without giving you too much non sense.

    I bought this book with the Book of muscles but have found that this one was way more useful than the other in terms of workout routines and home exercises.

    My Workout Bible

    It provides a full list of exercises for every level of fitness as well as for every level of equipment available to you. Anything from body weight routines to full on power lifting. Every exercise is clearly described as well as pictured. This is truly my home workout bible. It has everything from basic workouts to the more challenging for those who are not satisfied with the simple routines. It does what it says, and I am satisfied as I won't always be able to get the rare back issues of Men and women Health for good home workouts.

In terms of bodyweights, it is important to know every single exercise properly in able to achieve the desired form. It's nice to gain ideas about these exercises through this book. This book is perfect for those who are into building strength and gaining muscle. It teaches a lot of different bodyweight exercises that would be very helpful especially for athletes and even for beginners.

    How-to Guide on Bodyweight Training

    Each part begins with the explanation / presentation of the muscle that goes to coach, then there is the explanation of how he trains, exercises to do and finally a list of things to watch out not to get hurt and to perform all of them correctly the exercises. Some exercises are very simple and allow you to train two muscles simultaneously. However it is known to have a beautiful body we want above all perseverance. Maybe some figure more would have made it even easier. Body weight conditioning is definitely the way to go. I'm done with weights!!

    Lean fitness body

    There are dozens of exercises I can do to build muscle but I don't want to spend a days trying them all. I cant afford the luxury to to work out for hours each day and am sure not all exercises are created equal. Some are simply more efficient than others and this is what I expect from this book. I’m not interested in looking like a bodybuilder, I’m trying to get more of a lean fitness model body. So far I think I may have found what I've been looking for.

    Good considering Free

    Some very good stretches many I knew from military but there were a few I didn't know. Worth a look. a very good book for those who want to get fit in the privacy of their own home I have just downloaded this book and it looks good. It may be too advanced for me at the moment, but I will give the exercises a try.

    It's the best book on exercising I've ever read. The instructions are very clear and detailed. There are also decent illustrations. All groups of muscles are covered. This guide gave me the opportunity to exercise at home. If you're interested in the matter, this book is for you.

    Great guide very well done

    What did you like about this audiobook?

    Depend mostly on short body-weight workouts. In fact, Learn why cardio can often be one of the least efficient methods of burning calories, and how you can get a lot done in a little bit of time. i'll try to listen again and again.

    Straight up,with photos. Not easy for all ages,but book is good for young healthy people with no ortho problems. practical explanations you don't want to spend to much time reading why this or why these, just put it on the move Thanks Recommended.

    Great Break down on body-weight training, great for trainers, nothing revolutionary but a great way to study anatomy and get some great ideas. This book is amazing. If you can't get to a gym this is the book for you. I will get more in the series.

    Fantastic guide for body weight strength training.

    Which scene did you most enjoy?

    Being a inmate trying to get the jailhouse look, this book is a great stepping stone to achieve the look. Easy to follow and informative

    I love anatomy and physiology. Additionally I love body weight workouts. This book was perfect in depicting the major, minor and supporting muscles used in a given activity.

    I've been incorporating bodyweight exercises with my own training and into my client's training for many years now. Bret's book does a great job of going over a bunch of new bodyweight exercises that can be used at any level. This is a resource that I will be referring back to time and time again when I design programs!

    Excellent book. I like this book

    Excellent book. Recommend this to anyone that is into body weight fitness. The book throughout has pictures of what muscles are used during what exercise which is really helpful when planning a routine and aiming to hit a certain body part. It also has help on creating a workout routine and schedule plus has a exercise difficulty guide so you can plan a progression. It's a must have book in my opinion. Combine this with convict conditioning and your laughing. The book is just like body weight training, convenient, useful, progressive and fun.

    Superb!

    This book has everything I expected and much more!
    Detailed exercise descriptions, muscles used, progressions, energy systems and lots of really good exercises and tips by the author himself.

    These Exercises Work!

    I came across this book recently, which puts across a lot of my thoughts and feelings of about bodyweight exercises, in a more clear and easily understood manner. A lot of the exercises recommended are similar to ones performed in the Insanity workouts which is why I am sure of their effectiveness. The author also shows a great depth of knowledge in this field and quotes scientific studies that back up his claims.
