Motivational

This book has a lot of good information and the narration is great. I took one star away because it contains a lot of information that’s in other weight loss books that I felt didn’t add anything.

I love that this book doesn't sugar coat anything. It's straight up about getting to the root of the issue. I plan to listen again and again.

Motivation

Very inspiring & motivating. Has great stories & experiences that we can learn from. His voice is exciting not boring so I enjoyed listening to him reading the book. He’s very motivating and really does know what he’s talking about. Glad to have gotten it and although it’ll take time to get to my goal I really am inspired to go workout & really eat healthy and do the things I’m supposed to and not what I’m not supposed to. He gets it!

Not for chubby people trying to lose a few pound

This book is geared for morbidly obese individuals and I couldn't relate entirely because I am not obese. I was hoping that this book would motivate me to lose that few pounds that's been lingering but it didn't. There were however good quotes related to mental aspect of why diet fails and how that can be improved, which I can reference back to going forward.

Also I believe in ketogenic diet and JD talking about how fat is bad made my teeth cringe.
