Healthful and thought provoking - enjoyable read.

This book gives the reader a very clear explanation on what foods are healthy for the brain and why, which ones are not and why while using amusing anecdotes to prove a point. Enjoyable for those interested in learning how to improve brain health.

SUPERB! Thank you for the “science” behind this book.

Very concise and easy to follow. Longevity runs on both sides of my family. However, I have seen that my brothers and sisters do not enjoy a quality of life that my father and mother enjoyed into their last years. Mental clarity well into their nineties - father died at 95 and mother just shy of 100.
A must read for not only those that are approaching their senior years but for the young. This book offers hope and guidance to make the changes in what we eat so we can grow old gracefully.

Easy to read and educational

I have read several books on plant-based eating. Dr. Barnard’s writings are easy to digest while remaining highly informative and tied to the science. This book provides evidence-based nutrition information for addressing not only brain health, but weight loss and other health concerns as well. The primary focus is, of course, on brain health. I very much enjoyed this Listen.. I still find myself puzzled as to how I am to access the recipes, however.
