"This [audio] will shine new light on your journey, ignite your practice with new power, inspire new possibilities for growth, and infuse your life with the grace and confidence you seek." - Baron Baptiste

A little over a decade ago, Baron Baptiste published his seminal book, Journey into Power. The first of its kind, it introduced the world to Baptiste Yoga, his signature method that marries a lifetime of studying with some of the world's most renowned yoga masters with his uniquely powerful approach to inner and outer transformation. Since then, yoga has steadily moved into the mainstream in our culture, and Baron's unique contribution has played a key role. As millions of participants incorporate yoga into their daily lives, Baron's teachings have evolved to bring them even deeper into their own transformative possibilities. Perfectly Imperfect: The Art and Soul of Yoga Practice takes listeners beyond the foundations of the practice by speaking to everything that happens in their bodies and minds after they get into a yoga pose. That is where the true transformation occurs, and where much rich spiritual and emotional growth is available. Listeners will learn how to move through their lives with grace and flow, begin again when a situation becomes difficult, "be a yes" for their innermost desires, give up what they must, follow their intuition, and find their truth north.

With his signature blend of boldness, insightfulness, humor, and warmth, Baron offers what is destined to be an instant classic in the yoga and meditation world. With Perfectly Imperfect, he proves once again to be a true yoga master for the modern world.

Beautiful Soul

I will listen to this many more times. Very peaceful, truthful language. It takes time to realize to leave your ego out of the room and just be!

Michael Weston Does Yoga

Have you ever watched the TV series, Burn Notice”? The main character, Michael Weston, has a very particular way that he talks when he is narrating on the show. That’s how the narrator/author sounds the entire way through this book. Just sayin’. Content was great! His narration just threw me off.

Great inspiration and insight for your yoga practice

Baron does an excellent job of exposing the true transformative power of yoga. I have learned that yoga is not a competition on form or postures but it’s a internal intention on simply accepting the present moment and accepting that you are enough!

Recommend this to both yogis and non yogis

Very enlightening! Those that actively practice yoga or those who don’t could most definitely use these principles in there everyday lives
I have already sent this to a few of my friends as a must read ❤️

What Yoga is, and what it's NOT

This was a great book, and my first read by Baron. I always enjoy when the author is also the narrator.
This book gave me a good insight on Basptiste Yoga, which I enjoy and practice.
But most of all he shares what yoga is and what it is not or not intended to be. I found this book more philosophical than a practice focused book.

It is an enjoyable and easy listen.

Easy, Quick, EFFECTIVE

Provides clear description of ideas and experiences. Quotes a lot of great leaders to help implement his concepts. the language is easy to understand, follow, and remember. I consider myself a competent & efficient yogi & after just one read, this book has expanded & transformed my practice AND life so much further into the positive paradigm! Baron & his Baptiste JIP sequence are undoubtedly permanent tools I'll utilize to ensure my future health, wealth, & happiness!

Interesting mind opening book

With some interesting insights about dedication, saying yes and no to things in life, and in general life inside and outside of the mat.
