The author believes that it is very important that you get the full knowledge of what the disease is and how it works, so that you will be fully equipped with the knowledge to tackle this ubiquitous disease.
It then goes on to describe in detail the many causes of Leptin resistance and tells you the many ways that you can identify Leptin resistance in yourself and the ones you love. It then goes on to show the many ways that Leptin resistance is related to other hormonal diseases, such as diabetes.
You will hear ways of treating Leptin resistance naturally. This book gives you clear instructions of what to do and what not to do - and what to eat and what not to eat. The reasoning behind these rules is also explained, so that you are not left in the dark about these practices.
Even more important: This book features numerous recipes that will help to get you back on track with your Leptin sensitivity. They are easy to prepare, tasty, and sharable.

Leptin Resistance
Would you listen to Leptin Resistance again? Why?
Yes. Quite a bit of useful information was provided in this audio guide and it is something that I can refer to again.
What did you like best about this story?
I like the author's simple approach to helping me understand leptin resistance. From symptoms, to what to eat and what to avoid, I found it very helpful. Even little things like learning how much stress factors into the effects of leptin resistance gave me something to think about.
Which character – as performed by Kristi Burns – was your favorite?
Kristi's narration style, coupled with the author's conversational style of writing made this enjoyable to listen to. I wasn't sure what to expect as it is my first non-fiction audio book but I was pleased overall.
