      I really enjoyed this book and the subject is fascinating, but I would have appreciated some of the guidelines backed up with research quotes.But all in all a good book!

      "This is a nice, introductory book to the practice."

      This is a nice, introductory book to the practice of intermittent fasting. The purpose of this type of eating is to put your body in a fasted state more often, which ultimately leads to more weight loss. This book helps to describe the basics around what intermittent fasting is, and how it works in your body. There is a lot going on in the body, that will not be apparent, so it is really helpful to know how the body's internal workings make the practice of intermittent fasting work. This book goes into the affect on insulin, hormones, and many other chemicals in the body that control fat burning, hunger, and blood sugar levels. The author also includes the many types of intermittent fasting, as well as pros and cons for each. Although I appreciated this book, I ultimately gave it 4 stars because it needs some proof reading in order to make the information more clear, and better to follow. Overall, I learned a lot on the subject!
