Charlatan

The writer of this book is piggybacking on research of others without understanding the actual physiology. Read a book written by a doctor if you want to understand intermittent fasting.

First Timer

I've never heard of intermittent fasting let alone try it. I was desperate and a friend told me about it. I was then desperate again to learn all that I could about it to see if it was a good fit. This book is comprehensive and a quick and necessary resource if you are considering IF. Straight forward, no fluff read that answers questions I didn't even know I had! Looking for more books by this author!!

a book that can accompany "The Obesity Code"

I just finished and will continue reading again and again this book. it gives good instructions for fasting. it does not go into detail as to what fasting does so it is a must that you also accompany the book "The Obesity Code". together, these books are great for managing weightless. I highly believe in fasting but the myths always got in the way. it was highly practiced in the Bible and was one instruction that God and Jesus told us to do to stay healthy. now science backs that instruction. I will write more after some months of sticking to this idea. a great read for listening to. highly recommend!

Worth the time and money

Explains the different ways of doing IF, tips to make it easier, reasons to do it and in a succinct, non repetitive way. I recommend it and will listen to it again for motivation and ways to tweek my progress along the way. I thought the low carb aspect was a little unexpected but not lengthy or imposing.
