Diabetes is a chronic disease caused by insufficient insulin production, or a reduced response to insulin. When you eat food, your body breaks it down into its most basic components - glucose molecules - which are then used for energy. The pancreas creates an enzyme called insulin that helps to facilitate this process, but the body's response to insulin may become reduced when you follow a diet full of high-glycemic and processed foods.

Diabetes is a serious condition that can lead to dangerous complications if not managed properly. What many people don't know, however, is that not only can diabetes be managed but, in many cases, it can be reversed entirely. Making healthy changes to your diet and lifestyle can help to temper certain risk factors for the disease, such as obesity, and high blood sugar levels - that is where the paleo diet comes in. The paleo diet is naturally rich in nutrients, but free from refined sugars, processed carbs, high-glycemic grains, and other unhealthy foods. Removing these foods from your diet and fueling your body with healthy nutrition, is the key to managing diabetes.

A close friend of mine asked me to listen the Diabetes recipes book. It was a wonderful listen i would say. All my family have diabetes and we can't even eat any good diet. This book was an eye opener to me

I highly recommend you give the recipes..

Having to live with diabetes means I have to be very careful about what I choose to eat. This book helped me not only eat diabetes friendly nutribullet recipes, but also they were delicious! The quickness of making smoothies that are tasty, whilst not taking into much sugar was a real treat for me. I highly recommend you give the recipes in this book a shot if you have diabetes. You will not be sorry.

Diabetic patient must listen

A diabetic patient has to suffer a lot. He can't eat what he likes. Sometimes, they think that they can't take delicious food but this book will prove that concept wrong.
Here you will get some delicious, easy making, time saving recipes (breakfast, lunch, snacks, desert, dinner) that are also diabetic free.
Whether you are a diabetic patient or not, don't deprive yourself from such diabetic free delicious food recipes.
Highly recommended and must read book for diabetic patient.

A great book!

This book is great for diabetics like me and serves as another source of information to broaden our knowledge about the disease. The recipes provided in this book are delicious, nutritious and healthy. Highly recommended. The only thing that was negative was the length of the book, as I wish it was longer.

Comprehensive book on managing diabetes

As someone who is quite health conscious and with a family history of diabetes, I appreciated the book and the framework it provided. The diet is easy to follow and well structured. I think it could be quite helpful for those who aren't diabetic for general wellbeing. Particularly enjoyed the recipe section and have made some for work lunches.

This book is full of delicious recipes

This book is full of delicious recipes for managing diabetes. When we think about food for diabetic people we often think that is going to be boring and tasteless but the content in this book proves the contrary. It also provides important information on how important are certain nutrients as are the omegas 3. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for tasty and diverse ways to eat as managing diabetes.
