Do you constantly check your phone, terrified your partner is losing interest? Replay conversations searching for hidden meanings? Does their need for space feel like abandonment?

If relationship anxiety has turned love into a constant test you're failing, you're not broken—you're experiencing anxious attachment, and this audiobook is your research-backed guide to lasting change.

Anxious attachment makes you desperate for closeness while doubting you deserve it. You cling to partners, seek constant reassurance, or people-please until exhausted—only to push love away with your fear's intensity. The anxious-avoidant trap keeps you stuck in cycles where you pursue and your partner withdraws, leaving you both emotionally drained.

Healing Anxious Attachment combines attachment theory, neuroscience, and proven therapeutic frameworks to help you understand why you feel this way and how to change it. Drawing on Emotionally Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed approaches, Rachel Wright guides you from understanding patterns to building the secure attachment you've craved.

You'll discover how to:

• Stop catastrophic thinking that hijacks your relationships

• Break free from the anxious-avoidant dance

• Transform protest behaviors into authentic communication

• Overcome fear of abandonment through self-trust

• Practice mindfulness and self-compassion through guided reflections

• Build "earned secure attachment" that lasts

Unlike generic advice to "just communicate better," this addresses the root cause: nervous system wiring and childhood patterns that make secure love feel impossible. Through compelling stories and therapeutic techniques you can practice while listening, you'll become your own secure base.

Perfect for commutes, walks, or quiet reflection—this audiobook meets you where you are.

Your sensitivity isn't a flaw—it's your greatest strength waiting to be anchored in safety.

Start your journey from anxious to secure attachment today.

We all have some kind of attachment and a fear of losing something or someone, and that’s why I listened to this book. Beyond therapy, it’s always good to understand what is happening under the hood, why it happens, and what you can do outside of therapy, especially since one session a week can sometimes feel a little short. I wasn’t disappointed at all. This book achieved exactly what it promised: explaining the internal models we build in childhood that continue to shape our behavior into adulthood, how to recognize whether we have anxious attachment and to what degree, how to stop avoiding it, and many other useful insights.

I found it great as a complement to therapy, since you can go into sessions with the “homework” already done, get more out of them, and even accelerate the healing process, or at least better understand the direction the sessions are taking. I especially loved the chapter about developing self-awareness and catching thoughts as they happen, preventing them from being buried and endlessly echoing in the mind, where they can fuel anxiety.

Perfect companion to therapy
