Publisher's Summary

Arabella MacLeod was tortured by dragon hunters a decade ago. Ever since, her clan coddled and tip-toed around her, most especially her older brother. Desperate for a chance at freedom, she volunteers to foster with the Scottish dragon-shifter clan. She's determined to stay clear of the charming Scottish leader, but not only does he keep crossing her path, her dragon is drawn to him.

Finlay Stewart hasn't been able to forget the scarred dragonwoman he met at Stonefire six months ago. When the same female agrees to be fostered with his clan, Finn pursues her. Balancing his clan duties with his need to see Arabella isn't easy, especially with the existing rift in the clan, but he's determined to try. Arabella's inner strength draws him like no other female before.

Will Arabella trust Finn with her past? Or, will the rift in his clan tear them apart?

Funny!

I really enjoyed this book! This is my favorite book of this series, so far.
The story moved well. I was never wishing the characters would hurry up and get on with it. But the best part was Arabella's dragon! She was hilarious! All the better because of Mr. Davies interpretation. Though I have enjoyed all of his reading of the dragons throughout this series, he gives a wonderful performance of Arabella's dragon. Just the right amount of sass!
As a team, Ms. Donovan and Mr. Davies are very well matched.

Healed by the Dragon is a must read!

I just absolutely adore this book. To finally get insight into Finn and Arabella is what I’ve been hoping for ever since those 2 characters were introduced. To see the interaction between Arabella and her dragon is everything I hoped it would be, and the interaction between Finn and Arabella is downright comical at times!
To see what the Scottish clan is like with their own customs makes me want to hop on a plane right now!
I highly recommend this book and any other Jessie Donovan books. She truly has a style that stands apart from the rest.

Healed By The Dragon. Arabella and Findlay Story Must Listen Too in My Book

Healed by the dragon
Narrated by Mathew Lloyd Davis
Finn and Arabella's story

Mathew’s voice reading Healed by The Dragon is Strong and Sexy and keeps you wanting to hear more.
Arabella and Finlay had an amazing story they start the bickering, the smart mouth teasing, the outrageous flirting, was fun. The dragon sides of each character were all animal. *wink wink* Finn is a wonderful mate for her because of how he uses humour and his undying love for Arabelle to help her heal. He doesn't let her hide and pushes her to be the strong woman he knows she can be. Arabella's strength is so inspiring. And Finn's too! He's overcome a lot from his youth and is still dealing with the antics of those within his clan that think the old ways are the best ways. There is a lot on his plate and Arabella's strength helps him deal with the stress of clan business by being that shoulder to lean on. She helps him make the tough decisions because she can handle what gets thrown at them. I loved this Story

Healed.

This is probably one of my favourite books in this series. Area is a character who has been through a massive trauma. Something that changes your beyond anything else in your life. Meeting Finn changed her again from the person who hides to the person she was becoming before the incident. It shows that love helps to conquer even the biggest hurdles. The narrator of this series always does an amazing job. There were a couple of soft spots where I struggled to hear but those were few and far between.

Healed by the Dragon

Healed by the Dragon is the 4th book in Jessie Donovan's amazing Stonefire Dragons series. This is the story of Finlay Stewart and Arabella Macleod. We've slowly learned things about each character as they were introduced in other books in the series but in this book we find out who they really are and what makes them tick. Fin is a hard as they came, yet very cocky, alpha male leader of the Lochguard Highland Dragons clan and seems to be getting hit by all sides. While Arabella a member of the Stonefire Dragons clan, who is sent to Lochguard to foster, was physical and emotionally beaten by the human race many years ago and is suffering in silence.

Fin and Arabella, or Heather as Fin loves to torment her by calling her, have such great chemistry together and they bring out the best in each other. Although this book is a very high emotional roller coaster ride type of book and you can feel Arabella's pain, at times she comes across as bratty or whiny. Her dragon on the other hand is very entertaining.

I highly recommend this book to anybody who is following the series. And for those of you who are not but would love to I'd start with book 1 in the series 'Sacrificed to the Dragon'.
Matthew Lloyd Davies does a great job at narrating these books. He's always fun to listen to.
