This is the most amazing book. Charlotte Proudman is a very courageous woman working as barrister in the UK, largely representing women and children in Family Court who have been victims of abusive men. She also vividly recounts her personal struggles to change a largely masculine dominated legal system into one that more fairly protects the rights of women and children in the aftermath of relationship and family breakdown.
