Another home run for Mountford!

This eighth installment of the Haunted series might just be the most terrifying yet. Between the horrific entities and claustrophobic environment of the catacombs, this book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

lost hope

the story is well written. the narration is fun and fast pace. however my biggest complaint is that we are expected to believe in a forth thinking calculating source of evil that manipulates everything in its path for its own good. however, there's no opposing Force that is calculating for good and intervening on that behalf. the thought of a all-knowing calculated source of evil without an opposing force is hopeless. that promise of all known evil without a Force for good that is operating on behalf of humanity. the fact that they had David b ordained when he has no faith in God and does not understand the Bible or know God is unrealistic. and I am not sure how a female Reverend is working for the Catholic church. these are minor issues but for me they speak to the knowledge and the technical issues that just stick in my craw

One of THE best books in this series. Scary. Detailed. Perfectly written. Best narrator of all time. Just obsessed. Can’t wait for the next one!

One of the most terrifying books I've read

Lee mountford never disappoints me, All of his books have been terrific especially this series it's kept me on the edge of my seat with every book that he's written. if you like books with a lot of gore and a lot of scare this is perfect for you

Haunted Catacombs

Another excellent story in the Haunted saga. I enjoyed it. Narration by Hannibal Hills was excellent. I was given this book free for an honest review.

Great Addition to the Series

I'll be honest, I love this series but I thought that book 7 was mostly unimportant filler and was worried that the series would be extended more than it should be. Book 8 has proven me wrong, and it was a great addition to a scary, intense, and dreadful (in a good way!) series.

This had so much potential.

The narrator was terrible. Especially when he tried to do women’s voices. Every sentence has the same tone. Loud and alarming. Too bad. The story had such potential

The historical aspects in the storytelling are awesome

This is a great series. I've read all the books so far. And even though they are continuous read, there is always something new. And fresh to keep, you know, tethered, to what is gonna happen, I don't know where this story's going. I also really like that. All the places in the book, our real places that you can learn about

This was so bad. The narrator sucks!!! Had to quit listening. Not at all interesting.

Read the book instead

The story wasn't bad, but the narration was terrible. The entire narration
was overdone and it seemed like the characters were always yelling. I would recommend the book but stay away from the audiobook.
