amazing, to say the least!

I got audible just for Harry Potter and have found I really love audible and the variety of books. when I first started this series, I thought the narrator was a little over the top and I felt he made Hermione sound almost like he was mocking her. I've grown to love his impersonations, and you can already guess which character is speaking before it's mentioned.

the story: fantastic. I started reading these almost 10 years ago when I was nine and never had enough time to finish reading the series. I'm so happy for these audible books. I laughed and cried and can't believe the story has come to an end. this narrator has in part shaped our experience with the book and I'm beyond thrilled I got audible.

Not bad but over-the-top voice acting on Voldemort to the point I hate it so much

Horrific voice acting on certain characters, Dobby, Voldemort, Ron, Horace, et cetera etc etc etc

Story lacks plausibility, but still very exciting.

The story gets stuck very often. Not only Ron notices that but also the listener. The resolutions come too often in form of random events. But since it is a kind of a fairy tail, it might be forgiven.

La beauté des livres Potter

Il y en a qui disent que les livres de Harry Potter sont des contes pour enfants. Personne ne peut te lire ou écouter le dernier livre et continuer à penser ce soit le cas. La richesse des détails, la complexité des caractères, la beauté, des sentiments font de ces livres un vrai trésor de notre temps.

Thumbs down on 29 hours of a lisping Ron Weasley

This is one of my favorite of the Harry Potter books and I was looking forward to being able to listen to it in French. Unfortunately, the guy reading it chose, for some bizarre reason, to give one of the main characters a lisp. I guess French people like that? Which just goes to show you that even the most impressive and erudite of people can occasionally have crappy taste.

Anyway, even though the story is great, this aspect of the performance ruins it for me as an audible.
