Publisher's summary

Team Weird is back causing havoc in the Time Police in this irresistible spin-off series by international best seller Jodi Taylor, author of the Chronicles of St Mary's. If you love Doctor Who, Ben Aaronovitch and Jasper Fforde, you'll love the Time Police.

The Time Police do not have problems. They have challenges.

Idiots who want to change history have always proved 'challenging'. But now temporal tourism is on the rise - highly illegal but highly lucrative. If you're prepared to take the risk.

To face down this threat the Time Police will despatch their toughest undercover agents. Which is fine until the unthinkable happens. Replacements are needed fast, and who better than three young officers who don't even look the part?

Step forward Jane, Luke and Matthew. They may be about to graduate, but there's still plenty of time for everything to go wrong. Throw in the Versailles time slip, a covert jump to ancient Egypt and a race against time itself and you've got yourself an assignment worthy of Team Weird.

Amazing, as always.

The team of this author and narrator is absolutely perfect.

The story is funny, complex, with characters who feel like real people (good ones, bad ones, and in between alike) and the narration brings them all to life. One of my favorite audible duos.

Make Time for This One

Jodi Taylor and Zara Ramm have once again teamed up to create memorable characters and a great adventure that is both comic and tense, with twists that are always logical after the fact. What is so amazing to me is that they have set up a completely different cast of 'players' for this series with their own personalities and quirks. And yes, I do know that the book was entirely written by Jodi Taylor (and well done, Jodi!), but Zara Ramm infuses the series with life that I do not think any other narrator could match. Using inflection, accent, and tone, she conveys the various characters as clearly as if it was a full cast recording. In fairness, the individuality of the various people comes from the mind of Jodi Taylor, who probably could not create a two-dimensional character if she tried. I highly recommend not only the Time Police Series, but its parent series, The St, Mary's Chronicles. And if you want a break from the Time Travel thing, check out her Frogmorton Farm series. However, for the best results, I do suggest that you stay Cage free.

Team Weird is Back!

Wow! This was terrific! Team 236, better known as team weird, is going undercover to find illegal time traveling organizations even though they are still only trainees. Too many laughs as usual. This book was really intense in places and had me hooked!
Narration by Zara Ramm was perfect as usual! This spin off of the Chronicles of St. Mary's is great!

Team Weird returns for a second story

The misadventures of the trio known as Team Weird continue as they complete their Time Police training. Enter an old flame of luke's marooned in the past. From there the team is pulled into an undercover operation where they have no backup. With the skills of this team, what could possibly go wrong?

Oh, an St Mary's lends a hand as well in their typical fashion. The Time Police may not ever be quite the same.

Humor. Action. Intrigue. It's all here. Recommended to fans of the St Mary's and Time Police books. Can't wait for the next book.

Clocking In For Another Time Police Adventure

I have grown to love Team 237 and the cast of characters that makes up this team. The escapades that the main three protagonists find themselves on make me come back for more each and every time. Looking forward to the next trip through time and space with Team Weird.

May be her best yet!

I have read every single one of her “not time travel” books, long or short. This one, I think, is the very best. Of course I missed Max, but this next generation has quite the adventure in this book.

Good character development!

Jodi Taylor is just an amazing writer with all of her series(es?). This whole series is great and crosses over with St Mary’s in a smart, “cheeky” way that keeps true to their relationship with the Time Police. The narrator has great voices too. You can always tell who is speaking in the dialogue without her even having to specify the character.
