Pinkerton. means Justice!

A young woman named Tish decides she wants Stone Faced Finnegan to train her to be a Pinkerton. agent like he was. Little did she realize that evil follows Finnegan wherever he goes. His partner, Pop, learned that his daughter was being held captive in Dead wood so he and Rookie set out to rescue her only to find that Tish was trailing them as well. Naturally they are confronted by outlaws and Tish questions whether she wants to be a Pinkerton like Stone Face was.

HARD ROAD TO VENGEANCE

This is another book about Stoneface. This is the third book in this series. But this is my first book about Stoneface. I liked the storyline and wanted to see how it would play out. I like books about the Pinkertons. When there portrayed good. There is a couple different things going on. A gang of bounty hunters is looking for Stoneface. I didn't care for that part. Stoneface and Pops is on a mission to free Pops daughter. A new girl shows up wanting to learn how to be a good Pinkerton detective. Tish. She goes with them to free Pops daughter. She tries but gets in the way more than she helps. There is a lot of action at the end. A big fight when they go in to free her. Jack Garrett does a great job narrating this book. Different story

Good but different from the books about smoke jenson. I think I like the books about Smoke Jenson the best.

Stories are like an old comfortable shoe

A really enjoyable time listening to this production. It reminds me of a childhood story,

storyline okay but the writing was awful

I don't think this is my first book by these two authors and I know they are quite famous but while the storyline in this book was pretty intriguing the dialogue was so contrived an unnatural that it was hard to listen to. The performance of the narrator wasn't bad but the writing made it difficult to make this story believable. I just kept saying that sounded stupid no one would ever say that and my gosh how did this make it to print or audio

To many stories

Story, characters,I’ve been read about to many stories. Overall the performance is more important to me than the story. I like audible books it relaxes my mind.

Too violent and long winded

Didn’t pull it off-inferior.too much rattling on and gruesome description. Cheesy and disappointing and not up to par.
