I thought this series had the potential to be his best

And I believe that is still the case. This is a great series and I cannot wait for the next book!

a interesting story, which has moved the story along. but can see that the other books of the series will continue to interest us.

Much Better than Book One!

The libertarian ranting in book one is significantly toned down in book 2, so much so that I intend to continue reading the next couple of installments to see where the stories and characters go. The plot and character development in Hard Lessons is very well done. The political stuff was more muted and the book definitely benefits from it.

Great story, Great author. It is absolutely worth the purchase and read. It has adventure, humor, drama, all that you want in a book. You wont be disappointed.

Bit too much political dialog

Bit too much political dialog for my tastes. Was not as good as book one.

would love to continue the series but the next book is women power story. was hoping for Steve to come back to save the day but no.

2nd book was better than the first. Politics surrounding similar to that of Star Ship Troopers
