Enjoy the details which differ from the TV series

I started watching the TV series before reading the books.
This third book in the series has more sexual descriptions than the previous books. There are varying details about the characters. Particularly about Kevin, who does not have a child in the TV series and also I don’t recall any mention of Shanna. The book provides more detail and more interactions in Meg and Mick’s relationship.
So, although it took awhile to absorb the differences, the books are quite addictive. And, it’s nice to have a visual of the environment, the beauty of the land, town as one listens. The story is well-read. The wording and tones are captivating.
Definitely recommend this series. A town which one would love to live in and people nice to know.

definitely not the author's best work

terribly predictable. No real action, twist or turn outside of what is expected in this genre

Great story narration could be better

The narrator ended sentences on a high note for Kevin's voice. Was irritating bc it doesn't seem natural. Overall narration fine with that one exception.

Easy Listen

What did you love best about Harbor Lights?

I like the series even though there are alot of people to keep up with. I think I will keep listening to the series, even though it seems to go one forever.

Fun Romance

Would you consider the audio edition of Harbor Lights to be better than the print version?

The print version has to be better. The narration was awkward. It sounded as if a beginning reader was sounding out words and syllables.

How could the performance have been better?

It should be read like an adult reading to another adult.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was very moving.
