Life-Changing Wisdom on How to Be Happy

Are you ready to discover the secrets to happiness that work? The wisdom found in this audiobook has the power to change your life from being on the edges of depression to smiling again. These are proven methods that work for overcoming sadness and obtaining gladness.

Amber Rain, the author, writes in such a way that you won't have to waste a lot of your time searching for the excellent content. NO! She writes in a numerical style that will allow you to start applying these principles to your life immediately.

A few ideas from the book on happiness:

1. A wise friend of mine says this to me all of the time: "Have a nice day, unless you've made other plans." Please take a moment to think about that statement and let it soak into your thoughts and attitudes in the present moment. Are you planning on having a nice day today? Are you focused on all of the bad things in life? You really do have the power to change your life through making decisions about how you want your life to be.

2. Have you ever heard that what you focus on grows? If you focus all of your attention on all of the negative things in life, you will eventually begin to feel hopeless and overly discouraged. What are you focusing on in your life, good things or bad things?

3. You've heard it said: "Happiness is an inside job." The word "job" indicates that it takes effort to reach the place of being happy. I share with you the wisdom that has the power to set you on a pathway to having a happier life; all you have to do is apply wisdom. Can you make the decision right now, to really work on being happier?

When you are finished listening to these 51 ways to be happier you will:

  • Have social skills that will help you interact with anyone at any time, even a stranger
  • Have the wisdom you need in order to get along with others

Just do it!

It's easy to just tell someone to be happy, or "don't be sad." But we know it isn't that simple. Being happy is about a constant series of conscious and unconscious decisions we make every day.

This book helps to zero in on those decisions and helps us recognize how to isolate those decision-making moments. It was an eye-opening experience, for sure.

Very good messages!

Great tips most people forget

Where does Happiness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its really high up there. Sometimes you forget about the basic things that make you happy on a day to day basis.

What did you like best about this story?

Just really finding the things that make me happy. With the hustle and bustle of the world you forget the small things. These audio book really shows me that the little things matter a whole bunch.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are no scenes, just a long book full of good tips!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Happiness?

Just to look to myself first before thinking others, and things, can make me happy. It really comes from within and that once you find you, then we can work on the other things.

Any additional comments?

While not a story, or going to be the next top rated novel, you too can help yourself with a wonderful self-help book like this!

This book will help you focus on what is important

If you could sum up Happiness in three words, what would they be?

encouraging inspiring thought-provoking

What does JC Anonymous bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think this is a good book to have on in the background so you can tune in and pick up tips at random.

Any additional comments?

This book is packed full of tips to improve your life. It points out that happiness doesn't just happen for everyone, some of us have to work at it. There are tips for making the most of your life, for finding happiness. I found it very positive without being condescending. The tips are actually useful rather than being a series of 'motivational statements' that I've found in other books.

It's narrated clearly, not rushed. The narrator is convincing and he tells you the tips in a way that is easy to understand. There are about 50 tips here, so you're bound to take something away from listening to this book.

I think if you've a tendency to get caught up in life, and need a reminder to take time out to seek some happiness, then this is well worth a listen.
