Publisher's summary

Whether or not you remember Trista (Rehn) Sutter from her heartbreak on the first season of The Bachelor reality show or as the original Bachelorette, you’ve probably seen her on the cover of magazines like People and US Weekly or on shows like Ellen and Dancing with the Stars. She has rarely been out of the public eye since falling in love with Ryan Sutter on The Bachelorette more than ten years ago. This former pediatric physical therapist and Miami Heat dancer had her fairy tale fall into place with a whirlwind courtship and dream-come-true wedding to a poetry-writing firefighter (televised on ABC to more than 26 million viewers). The happy couple now has two adorable kids and a dog.

Sutter is often asked her secret to being one of the rare reality-TV relationships to make it to the altar and beyond. Through personal stories, as well as anecdotes from friends, family, and experts, she shares the simple yet profound keys to finding everyday happiness and success: Gratitude and grace.

Not What I expected

In the first few chapters I wasn't really thrilled about this book because it wasn't like the other Bachelorette books. But as I got down to the meat of the book, I am so grateful that Trista didn't share gossip but her true self as a person, wife and mother. There are many suggestions in her book that I will be using. Thank you Trista Sutter for sharing your heart!

Not what I was expecting

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I thought this was an autobiography.

Would you ever listen to anything by Trista Sutter again?

No.

Any additional comments?

If I wanted a self-help book I would not have chose Trista Sutter for guidance.

I love Trista but she spoke way too fast

Would you try another book from Trista Sutter and/or Trista Sutter?

I tried to return it to no avail, I literally couldn't listen to it as she spoke so quickly I couldn't keep up, I tried slowing it down and then she sounded like she was drunk so that didn't work either. I can see very well therefore have to do audio.

What did you like best about this story?

I dnt get to read/listen to it tried to return but it didn't work

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Trista Sutter?

Someone who speaks slower but again I love her and her voice she just needed to speak slower. Andie Dorfman was a GREAT narrator minus the foul language.

Any additional comments?

Redo the book spoke way to fast
