Fun twists to story

Great narration and fun story. Looking forward to next book in series. The powers was a fun surprise

Frisky, but a little too much insecurity

The hitman/librarian schtick was fun, sort of like the movie R.E.D. without the senior angle. However, the ratio of fun to drama was off. There was too much inner monologue of Hannah’s insecurity over her body, desirability and career. Her hard luck backstory also gets bludgeoned over our heads (survived a brain tumor, medical bills cost her her dream job, cheating ex, horrid family…) Even Jack’s inner monologue was weirdly insecure about pursuing her until they have their first date, and then he’s smitten about everything.

The second half got better with the comic book twist and sexcapades, although here too the dirty sex clashed with the comic book vibe. Also, I could have done without all the casual cussing (but that might just be my weird thing of loving dirty talk in the sheets but hating it on the street). Overall, good enough that I’d consider a sequel.

Super fun and engaging the whole way!

I loved loved loved this! I giggled through the whole thing. The narrators were excellent.

I love crazy situations

Although it took a few chapters for me to get into it, I couldn’t stop listening. Coming from a crazy family I can totally relate to the heroine’s family frustrations and desire for a sexy fulfilling relationship. The unbelievable situations and banter made me laugh out loud. I highly recommend it for someone who needs an escape from a gray world.

Trashy . . . But fun!

Soooo smutty, profane and trashy! Lol! But a decent time nevertheless.

The first “extra bit” for Hannah was ok, but the second one was a HUGE stretch. As others have said, that wasn’t necessary. Nevertheless, it was pretty much a fun, predictable read.

Will I read the next one to see what happens with Dax? Maybe—when I’m ready for another smutty, profane and trashy fix!

Spicy Rom Com

This was a OK book.
The storyline had a great start and went a little down hill from there. The scene on the plane was great!
Narrators were very good, easy to listen too and seem to fit the characters well.
It is a typical cute meet and then hit the sheets kinda book.
Lots of swearing-be prepared and more sex than necessary. Really didn't add anything to the storyline.
Funny and entertaining.

I can't get past the narration

The story is too far fetched and the narration is terrible. I wish I could have my credit back.
