A genderbent retelling of the classic fairytale Beauty and the Beast...

A nerdy gemologist - Bellamy ‘Belle’ DeWinter - ends up the prisoner of a narcissistic yeti named Abigail Snow, who lives in a sparkling mansion made entirely out of blue quartz and whose loyal servants are living statues made out of semiprecious stones.

When Bellamy starts to think the yeti girl might actually be kind of cute, he freaks out about his unsettling case of Stockholm Syndrome but decides to man up and help Abigail find a way to break the curse.

Will Bellamy be able to beat the evil sorcerer Agathon at his own game by unlocking the powers and mysteries of the legendary Philosopher’s Stone?

As cracks begin to form in the rainbow-colored Aurora Borealis quartz stone time is running out!

Twisted fairytale

This is pretty much Beauty and the beast with a twist. I did enjoy this twisted fairytale. Wish we all could see the beauty within.

So Much Fun

I have a 4 year old granddaughter and a 24 year old daughter - I have had my fair share of fairytales and princesses. I had such a great time listening to the Generbent Adult Fairytale. I wasn't fond of the narrator - he was kind of flat and monotone but the story itself made up for it. There were even moments my cheeks flushed :-)

Genderbent Beauty and the Beast Retelling

Genderbent Beauty and the Beast Retelling, only with a yeti. the story itself wasn't terrible, parts actually made me laugh out loud. There were two very problematic things about the book for me. 1st, the author uses the word "retarded" which I can't stand. 2nd, the end of every chapter ends with "To be continued in chapter x." Obviously, that's how books work, they continue through each chapter until you reach the end. The narrator was good, even though there were a few mispronounciations of name brands, I can't fault him too much for that. He does talk a bit faster than most narrators, which I enjoyed. Overall, do not recommend.
I received this book in exchange for honest review.

Fun story

Abigail snow is cursed into a yeti by the evil sorcerer Agathon and she lives in a mansion made of blue quartz. Everything is made of some kind of semi-precious Stone.

Bellamy has had to move to yeti town Alaska with his sick mom because of his curse. Intrigued you have to
Read to find out lol One thing leads to another thing and now he is the prisoner of abigail.
So can these two break the curse? Oh yea and here is a nut case on the loose too lol . The plotline thickens .
It's a fun story and a redesign and reverse of Beauty and the Beast. Or the idea of that story anyways to me with it being completely fresh new and different. If any of that make sense to you lol it was fun. Action, drama, mystery, and so much more.
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it

Light and Easy PRN Romance

Handsome and The Yetti
This audio was uniquely enjoyable. The old Beauty and the Beast tale, told 50 different ways, but never quite like this.
We have Abigail Snow the narcissistic Yeti holding the nerdy Bellamy hostage as he attempts to break the magical curse and set them both free. This PRN Romance has flipped the roles and brought a touch of Stockholm Syndrome into the 2018 retelling.
The narrator has a very youthful voice. This lent credit to the story dynamic of having a female dominate “villain” as the story goes. The narration flowed well and was never distracting.
This is the second audio I’ve listened to by this author and I quite enjoyed it. I laughed through most of it. It’s an easy listen that I found great as a pallet cleanser in between some of the more heavy storylines I tend to to lean towards. I look forward to hearing any tale with it’s twist and turns that KuroKoneko takes on next.

Amazing!

This was a great book from beginning to end. One of my favorite people wrote this book, and while I feel the voice actor could have done a better job, the overall picture was beautifully written!

A tale as old as time!!!

If you are like me you grew up loving everything about Beauty and the Beast. This genderbent fairytale takes it into the present, with twists you never could have expected! You know the story and the plot, but.... with the twists and turns KuroKoneko Kamen adds in its truly a whole new story! I absolutely loved every second! Even my husband enjoyed every second going so far as to ask me to start it over again when it finished so he could hear the parts he missed and enjoy it in its entirety! I refuse to give anything away so everyone can enjoy the twists as they enjoy this story for themselves! But i will say one thing... give this book a listen! It is worth it! Between the humor and twist added it is well worth it! Even the narrator, L. A. Johnson, did nothing but add to this tale something fun and special!
