Strange story. Too much witch specificity.
Enjoyable monster battles with the protags. More enjoyable protags. A true good millennial, a young but powerful and kind witch, her gran and mentor, and an Eastwood hero (Man with no name.)
A typical Millennial (21st c. ) is the Antag. Selfish, callow, corrupt, uninformed, and selfish. Oh, I said that already. Clean and Mysterious. Enjoy.

Struggled to get through this one and actually fell asleep near the end. The story is okay and the premise is interesting, but the narrator has some pronunciation issues that could be solved by simply entering the words into dictionary.com. Nearly turned it off in the first chapter because of 'Windigo'

I'm not sure I will continue with the series.
There are characters introduced and then when you think they may be important they are killed off. It's abrupt and pointless. It's one thing to advance the plot but these deaths seem like what you do to end a character without purpose. Its annoying way to dispose of a character.
