Everyone who has ever lived continues to exist on the flipside and if possible, can be asked direct questions. This is the startling premise of Hacking the Afterlife; which argues that it's possible to obtain new information from people no longer on the planet. These afterlife interviews are conducted via various mediums, people under deep hypnosis, or fully conscious yet able to access details of previous lifetimes. The reports offer practical advice (afterlife hacks) on how to navigate our lives and improve our planet. The best-selling author of Flipside: A Tourist's Guide on How to Navigate the Afterlife (also a film) and It's a Wonderful Afterlife explores the flipside via mediums and other methods, interviews a variety of people no longer on the planet including Edgar Cayce, three mediums who claim to be able to speak to Amelia Earhart, Robin Williams, the artist formerly known as Prince, and people who claim to know the Alpha and the Omega. The author explores these accounts with an open mind, and invites the listener to do the same.

Having read Brian Weiss, Michael Newton, Jane Roberts, and Dolores Cannon, amongst others, there was not a lot of new material but what he does is bring the concepts together in a manner that is not overwhelming. For those beginning their journey into this field, Hacking is a great springboard that will send you on your way to a deeper understanding of what you will discover on the flip side.

Where does Hacking the Afterlife rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I would say it is in the top 10%, only because it ranks high on my interest levels in subject matter. What did you like best about this story?
I like the data and the research that seemed to be pretty well thought out and researched. Just listening to the list of the reference list, he did a ton of work getting this out there. What does Richard Martini bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He does many notes in the reading, which I doubt are in the book but are just things he notes out while reading. Or maybe they are in the book too, I don't know since I didn't read it but listened to it on my commutes and washing dishes. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really, it was all purely or mostly from a pragmatic point of view. I listened to Laura Lynne Jackson and her book The Light Between Us, and she is emotionally vested into the work she is moved with what she reads as she lived it. Her emotions pour out of the speakers and into your ears, she really rips away the band aide of doubt with her honesty and emotions. Richard reads from a more scholastic stand point I would say, lighthearted and a little goofy but not dripping with passion like Laura's. However, the interesting thing was with the Earth spirit, it reminded me of indigenous people's stories of Mother Nature and what not, and think there is some value in studying it.Any additional comments?
I wish the production values were a little higher, I mean Richard works in the industry and should have access to a sound room that makes him sound like he isn't recording at his desk or in a bedroom. Play a sample you can hear it compared to another reading, I live in Southern Ca, I have friends in music and TV these sound studios are almost as plentiful as Starbucks - it is a little strange he didn't get a good sound engineer. It would be like spending so much time researching and then putting your work out on a hand written binder, why not polish it up? I also disagree with him that there is no evil, yes there is, and the data backs it up. I do not think it is human, or even in the same dimension the dead go home to, but there is a dimension next to us that harbors Inhumans and that are not nice. We probably will never understand it until we can punch through the membranes of dimensions. However, if a dimensional traveler came here and ran into a tiger shark, pretty sure that would call that a demon or something to that effect - while we know these as just bad ass killing machines and know better than to spend quality time with them in their home. I am not sure why people gravitate to celebrities, I guess it is something that people feel they know, they are in our homes on the TV - but really I am not all that interested in Prince, or Robin Williams, or Amelia. I would say there are many riveting stories of common people who are more engaging, but you know you can take the person out of Hollywood but you can't take Hollywood out of the person. I have worked on movie sets, and I am just not impressed with stars, but I realize I am in the minority - but maybe that is why I gave the reading choices a "meh" approach. Pro tip people, they are just like us, they eat and poop like us, enjoy their music and art or acting, but don't put them on a proverbial pedestal if possible. I think the work he is doing is important, if we have any chance in saving ourselves and our future, we have to realize that it is all just an illusion, this is all a BS Roman circus and we need to focus on what is important. I think Tool song Aenema captures my thoughts perfectly, on my thoughts of what we need to think about, and not be star struck or let the hate and greed filled vapid people control the narrative of our kind. We are in the circus now, we need to wake up, we need to push the light and be ready for home, we need to be better humans, and that is why this book and other like it are important - and an important read for everyone.Interesting listen.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a very comprehensive book of his work and others very important work. There are numerous other books i would recommend along with this one. If you are interested in reality and truth I highly recommend listening to all Richard Martini's books. What was one of the most memorable moments of Hacking the Afterlife?
I wouldn't say there is a moment, but i like the fact that he is the one reading the book to me. I feel his passion, his frustrations, his experiences. To those who think its not a good 'performance' or a professional recording I would say; if you are looking for 'entertainment' this may not be the book for you. But if you are looking to expand your consciousness, to find reality and explore yourself more deeply, then this is the book for you.Which scene was your favorite?
I really enjoyed his moments with Jesus. I always figured Jesus had a sense of humor! If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Martini anyone?Any additional comments?
Thank you Richard. Your audiobooks are the first to make me feel like I am sitting in my living room with someone who understands this journey and puts it in plain english with humor and humility. I wish I had someone to discuss all this with. But i live in the bible belt and everyone looks at me like i have two purple heads. Listening to your experiences and explorations certainly help me know I am not alone.Love this guy!

This is well worth the price of an Audible credit if you are interested in reincarnation and enjoy reading books such as those by Michael Newton, Dr. Brian Weiss, the Erik Medhus books, Dolores Cannon, and more.
Lighthearted, yet parts of which are deeply researched, this audio book was informative, very interesting and enlightening.
Broadly researched, fun and educational

It does not need one, because Richard has already supplied it.Any additional comments?
Richard has topped his Flipside Series with Hacking The Afterlife. My favorite chapters was the chapter that had the message from Planet Earth and the long chapter about Issa. Everything I have read or listened to Richard's Audible Books are truly Awesome Research Material. I will be listening to this audio book several more times.
