Publisher's Summary

One of the most misunderstood concepts to do with computers and technology is hacking. For the most part, people refer to it as being highly illegal and unethical, when in reality this is not the case. Yes, there are bad and evil hackers out there, but in order to prevent these hackers from becoming a real threat, you may want to learn how to better defend yourself in the processes a hacker may use to better protect yourself and your friends.

This book will provide many methods and techniques, such as penetration testing, Wi-Fi hacking, and DoS attacks in order to provide a better understanding of how to hack and, ultimately, how to prevent your computer from being an easy target.

Fast, easy to understand, basic

I was looking for something a little bit more in depth into "learning to hack" other than just a little script kitty Metasploit solution to a pre-vulnerable virtual machine. But it was a great read, very interesting, learned nothing and I want my money back

Good addition to my library.

Easy and simple book. It is the best book to know the basics of programming or particularly programming python. This is a real book well worth the money, unlike some other books out there which in some cases are simply copy and paste from different sources.

Great book!

This is a great book. This is a very good underground book for penetration testing and why it is needed. It has also some information for those who have been already doing penetration testing. Indeed, this is a must-listen if you want to know how to be a hacker
