Very slow with too much detail
There is an excessive amount of detail and scene building that really slows the story down. Only in about the last 10% of the book does anything interesting happen. It just felt like a lot of investment for very little return.

The lore of halo is fantastic. Easily my favorite setting, I hope they enjoy a long active span of production.

Narrator
This is one of the better narrators so far in the halo series. He did a great job giving characters different voices and keeping them consistent throughout the narration.
