Informative guide and reference point

With lots of talk about probiotics and gut health effecting a lot more in your body than anyone ever thought before, this is a solid starting point to understanding it and getting some meals to help get you on the road to fixing any issues. There is a brief overview of the subject matter issues that can arise from poor gut health and how to fix it, and from then on we get a lot of good recipes to try out.

The meals are good tasting and have a good amount of variation that will fill out more than enough time to try out the diet and see if it gives the results that the reader is looking for. The narration is clear and well paced so as to be easy to follow along with while preparing the food or just looking for some ideas.

Excellent intro and lots of recipes!

As with all of this author's books, this serves as a great introduction to it's subject matter. The author includes a brief overview of gut health issues and symptoms in chapter 1, but its predominant usefulness is the inclusion of many recipes throughout the rest of the book. The recipe chapters cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. All the recipes are well done and consist of only ingredients that are in line with establishing and maintaining gut health.

The narration of this book was well done. The narrator delivers the material in a way that is a little over dramatized for my tastes, but it serves this short book well.

I was given this book for free at my request in exchange for this honest and unbiased review.

Eat healthier with these recipes

This author is pretty prolific. I decided to give his diet-oriented cookbooks a shot after having good luck with his appliance-oriented cookbooks (crock pots, soup makers, etc).

There's a good intro advocating this cookbook's dieting philosophy after which it dives into recipes. This cookbook has a nice variety of recipes and they all sound approachable. I don't know how fast or slow I'll want to actually hear the instructions in the kitchen. The narration is perfect: crisp and clear at any speed.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

I am hungry now...

This is not your typical cookbook. The first chapter is dedicated to explaining potential causes of your gastrointestinal issues. A weeks worth of many tasty sounding meals and snacks are presented. I plan to try several! Hats off to the narrator for a really good job narrating. I received an audio promo code at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
