Publisher's Summary

This audiobook focuses on beginners - particularly those who are having a hard time picking up the guitar.

One crucial aspect of learning any skill is guidance, and this equally applies to learning to play the guitar.

As a beginner, you need to know

  • How to hold your guitar properly
  • Stringing your guitar
  • Tuning your guitar
  • Essential guitar accessories
  • Finger exercises
  • How to read a guitar tab
  • Basic chords to know and much more

Guitars have become more popular since the start of the 20th century, thanks to great guitarists like Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Brian May, Eric Clapton, and many others. Guitars are relevant in almost all genres of music: classical, folk, jazz, country, Brazilian, African, metal, etc.

The guitar is usually considered a solo instrument, albeit one mostly played for accompaniment because of the harmonious effect it has. You can play chords, unlike such instruments as the trumpet or saxophone, which can only play one note at a time.

Don’t waste your time! Grab a copy of this audiobook and learn how to play guitar in an easy way!

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Best guide

This is a wonderful book. I would recommend it to anyone with a firm grasp of the basics, or as a tune-up for advanced users.

Good book on the basics but bad with illustrating

The book is very good for beginners to understand the guitar, it's build and the differences between guitars
but it does lack in illustrations, though this is mainly because it's made as a physical book, it lacks the guide to the different finger placements for the different chords, as when telling the composition he refers to the pictures and figures in the physical book

Helpful book

A good book for beginners. It's written for people who've never held a guitar before. People with experience will probably want to skip the first part that talks about the parts of a guitar.

Great book

it is played as an accompaniment because of the harmonious effect it has because you can play chords as opposed to instruments like trumpet or saxophone where you can only play a single note at once.
